I have a question i got 1 of these enerpac cylinders but its in peaces and idk what order the split ring and seal go and exactly where they go can i email you some pics and questions

I tried to remove the brass ring, wouldn’t come off it just kept spinning what could be holding it on?

There is a small stake (center punch or prick punch) on the edge of the brass ring and the steel body that needs to be drilled out. I use a 1/16" drill bit and drill in about 1/16 deep or so until the stake is removed and then the brass ring will unscrew easily. Be careful of the threads on the brass ring, they are sharp and will lay your hand or finger open if you let the threads slide in your hand. A rag covering the threads works well.
