I have both the Raptor 2 (raptor 2.05 - raptor 2 with the focbox unity upgrade) & The Boosted V2 dual plus xr. If I could only choose one I would undoubtedly choose the Boosted as it is more fun to ride, reliable, and comfortable. As you mentioned, they both serve their own purpose as the raptor 2 is my high speed stable cruiser, but the boosted is everything and my go to daily board.

Basically you prefer snowboarding and surfing to skating. Lonbgboards are for snowboarder surfer people. Raptor is for skaters it's as simple as that.

Save your self headache and money and buy the Boosted Stealth. I learned the hard way. 5 months ago I bought a Enertion Raptor 2.1 electric skateboard my biggest regret to date. Rear wheels are coming apart (known manufacturing defect but not when I bought, lucky me!), battery sag under 60%, battery stated range less than half and range is down 30%, remote USB connector fell off (known manufacturing defect but not when I bought, lucky me again!), and it cost me $1400. I should have bought a Boosted Stealth and saved $400 and a lot of headache. My friends with Boosted boards have driven 500+ miles and only issue is motor band needed replacement ($20).

What exactly makes the cells used by Boosted superior to Samsung 30q cells?

Higher discharge rates. They are A123 cells. Much faster charging and longer life cycles as well. 40 Samsung 30Qs aren't enough for those inefficient hub motors.

I have a earlier raptor 2 never seen any sag wonder if they deal with the heat better. i Remember bombing up a steep hill at 3% battery and getting no sag The remote grew on me defiantly will take it over a boosted or evolve but it’s not the best .

Enertion is dead. I think I am one of the last ones that received a Raptor in August 2019. It also has several quality problems. Motors, wheels. Actually it runs, but the Polyurethane outer wheels are breaking on some areas. 1500 Euros spent on good words from Jason Potter for him and his team travelling around the world.

don`t buy any enertion products the company takes a shit on small orders firstly , it uses your money to make the board ( even though on their website they say they have the product this leading to huge delays and complications , remember this is not a pre-order situation ! in my case i have 9 months of waiting from Mai 2019 and no responses on my requests of refunds 1500 $ down the drain . also they literally took their website down so no support not way to get in touch with them at all ) just making the people aware ! don`t have to trust me , ask arround do some research before losing 1500 $
