I can't believe, I watched this video on the first week it was uploaded and at the time had myself a Boosted Mini X. Now im riding a Diy board i build a 12s 6p setup with 6374 dual motors with a top speed of 45mph. Im also running All Terrain tires 200mm X 50mm.

ESK8 people are so weird like tell me the ESC specs not what firmware is on it.

I went with l-faster electric mountain board Dyl custom set up. So now I go with something more like this board, as lfaster didnt hold up to my Weight of 225lbs. So everything was slow and dead speed at first. I've now put about 2000 dollars into my custom electric mountainboard and flipsky is moving me just fine. My battery box is on top and the best they have, I fsec4. Is in a back waterproof box, like most high-end boards from Europe videos. Witch take mbs mountain board to a hole new level. Also I add flow bindings for comfort as, I loved snowboarding. Yes my mbs electric mountainboard is a fully customizable board with the best on it. . .

How are you able to go through puddles without everything short circuiting? im sure it involves a rubber gasket, but it cant possibly be perfectly waterproof.

I just do not understand how you ride your electric longboard in the rain. It seems like the motors were not damaged, but I would expect those BLDC motors to short circuit. What is the trick? Also, all the normal skate equipment such as bearings and the deck would surely get ruined. Also, I am sure you waterproofed the container. Just how water proof is it and how did you make it waterproof? I only ask because I am building my own electric skateboard. My current rule is that I will not ride if there is so much as a drop of water on the ground.

Yeah it's kind of just common sense that you don't make a mountain board and not put bindings on it

Super cool DIY! Not sure the math is right in the title on this one. The specs for the motors are Max Power: 3250 Watts. So, x 2 = 6500 Watts, not 9000 Watts. Straight from your link to the motors. Why isn't Trampa in the comparison? Thanks for sharing.

Man, at 2:23 you answered so many of my questions. There seems to be such a range of performance on different boards with similar motor wattage and voltage levels, so the differences really might just be all in the battery/esc setup.
