I made this bread today and it was brilliant. I followed the exact amounts although I mixed it in my Kitchen Aid using the dough hook. The dough was amazing and so easy to handle.....not in the least bit wet or sticky and so elastic. I formed it into 2 loaves instead of 3. Thank you so much!!!

This is a recipe that really works. It only needs one proofing and one resting and the result is just great. There is no need to bring out the stand mixer. Simple and Superb!

Thank you. On my travels with husband and two year old son through Turkey in 1995 we absolutely loved buying fresh baked ekmek...and devouring most of it before we had time to find a place to stop our campervan for lunch. i'm excited to taste this after 25 years of wistful memories

I've made this about a dozen times now. It is so easy and so good! I usually divide into two and end up with loaves that are about 16" long! Fantastic!

Thank you, thank you, thank you ! I'm a 62 yr old man in belgium, and like so many people, I have begun to try to bake my own bread, to have something to do during this lockdown misery. To my own surprise, I found out I liked baking a lot, and I had a lot of success with normal bread. Soft sandwiches were no problem as well, but crispy baguettes and what we call "pistolets" (small round little breads we eat on sunday mornings) were always a problem, untill I found your recipes on YT. Now I make perfect baguettes and pistolets, and my wife has become an absolute fan of my hobby. So again, thank you (x3) !!!

I HAVE made this bread yesterday, and it turned out very, very good. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will use this to make pizza dough because it was easy to roll out because it did NOT stick to anything when rolling it out. Very interesting combination of your recipe and my lessons I have learnt about bread making and how it all comes together - AT last!

Hi Paul, This dough does not stick because it is only 56% hydration, whereas pizza dough is usually much higher hydration. Neapolitan pizza for instance is about 65 - 75% hydration, yielding a stickier dough which requires other techniques which make handling high hydration doughs much easier and less messy. This dough will work for pizza, but will yield a denser pizza crust than one with higher hydration.

Love this recipe and the simple ingredients, no need for sugar for yeast or milk which one can sometimes not have on hand. This recipe I chose to do in bulk and refrigerated dough after 1st hour rise during week, then whenever I wanted fresh baked bread I just pulled apart an orange sized amount of the pre-made dough from frig and rolled out into a loaf to rise for 20 min, then baked for 30 min. By the time the bread was done I had a 30 minute meal cooked and fresh hot bread was ready! Thank you so much from Texas, USA!

I make a lot of bread and use different recipes but this method produced the best tasting bread I have ever had. It's simply delicious with wonderful texture. I couldn't understand what the lady was saying but the written instructions were easy to follow. Thanks so much for sharing.

Danke für das super einfache Baguette Rezept. Ich habe schon zum zweiten mal die Brote gebacken, sie schmecken wirklich lecker und sind sehr angenehm herzustellen. Ich mache immer 6 Stück auf einmal , jeweils 3 auf einem Backblech, man kann die Brote gut einfrieren, sie sind in 10 Minuten bei 150 Grad schnell aufgetaut und schmecken super.

Sie lässt die hefe füe eine std im teig wirken und dan im blech dan noch einmal bevor sie den schnitt auf den broten gemacht hat indem sie es mit einen tuch für 20 min die hefe wieder wirken gelassen hat

my grandma used to make this bread in the outdoor brick stove, as soon as she would take it out of the stove I would take a big piece and eat it just like that hot out of the oven, the best!

Just made this , fantastic ! I just added a tiny amount of sugar quarter teaspoon and baked it in a large old bakery tin .I used strong white Canadian flour.

I live in Paris. Not buying bread is unlawful here. I could make the best and easiest bread and I would still not buying bread. Buying bread is a national past time here. So many wonderful and beautiful choices here. It’s heaven.

@@ruth6193 Pay attention! I'm a Hungarian guy. Every week I bake a pound of bread for myself. When it has cooled, I immediately eat 3 slices of it because it is so delicious. This is already a ceremony for me.

@@elizabethaltman243 I did 375 Fahrenheit but on the 2nd time to wait for the dough to rise, I would wait longer than 15 minutes until you obviously see the dough rise otherwise it would be dense after the 2nd day.

@@annemariekefala2591 I just did what the instruction said as it was mu first time to make bread. I would wait for dough to rise 30 minutes to an hour or when dough rises half the size. I've been baking bread after that and much better being patient for dough to rise.

No need to kneading. Try using GF flour read recipe on back follow instructions NO NEED WITH ALL THIS KNEADING LARK place in tin you intend baking bread OR place on greaseproof paper leave to rest cook temp 200c for 25 to 30 mins aaaa TIP DO NIT TOUCH THE DOUGH WILL STICK TO YOUR.HAS.HANDS IF YOU NEED TO TOUCH IT MAKE SURE YOU HANDS ARE FLOUD

I just tried this at home! haha my first bread(s) ever. So they taste fine, but I didn't do a very good job in forming them in the way the lady in this video did. My bread looks rather flat and thin lol but the color and taste is fine!!

200 degrees for 30 minutes? Is this correct? I had to cook mine longer, and turned up the heat. I would appreciate your response. Thank you. BTW, the bread was wonderful; I just had to cook it longer.
