There is always something new. I’ve been through the Aux. iPod adapter, Bluetooth, cackuo cameras, carplay. In the end the customers desires what they need.

If I take off the oem stereo, how would I control the time on the instrument cluster?

That has never come up. Are you sure it shows on the instrument cluster? I assume that there has to be a control from the cluster. If not someone would have said something by now. I have to look next time I install a radio.

Never heard of a "half a din". Heard of a single din and a double din though.

Technically there are some older EQ's that are half din. If I said half din I probably meant double din face with single din chassis. So half sized chasis came out as half din.
