I'm an ENFJ and I'm SO sensitive to vibes and moods. As an example: i can't be in the same room as my mother for to long anymore, bc she's always sending of these stressed & aggressive vibes and it just stresses me out so much

That’s so hard isn’t it? How about talking on the phone? Sometimes I find that in person can be more difficult for ENFJs when they’re with A dominant or stress provoking person. Try the phone or texting more than in person interactions and you might find that you get along with her much much better. (because ENFJs pick up on lots of facial inflections as well that can make you feel like you’re on a roller coaster ride).

@@jamalcole1985 Simple, it's because women most definititely do not only love men on the condition of what you can provide. That's also a mistake some men make on dates or when trying to get a woman to like them. They keep talking (or humble bragging) about the things they have and how accomplished/rich they are instead of genuinely connecting with that person.

Okay. I know I'm late to the game. I'm an INFP. I'm so frickin' in love with an ENFJ (he took the test at my behest and that was his...score? Rating? Anyway...). I've loved this man since we were 4. We're now 38. I told him that I liked him back in June. He did not acknowledge it. We've been talking ever since but he has yet to address what I said and I'm not bringing it up again. Are there any other clues that an ENFJ likes you without them stating it? Another point: we live in 2 different states (TX & TN). He is divorced, has 2 kids and is on leave until goodness knows when (military). I'm strongly considering giving up in him. Thank you for reading this far.

Yup! Loyalty is one of our strong suits and is valued highly and expected to be returned but when it is not, well then it's shut that door time and there's no looking back, maybe years later we'll reassess but it's not without much caution going forward, we really want to hope all things will turn out for the better but not afraid to walk away if need be. We have a limit on red flags ;-)

Have noticed a lot of ENFJs have trouble keeping relationships. Part of it is that they have very large networks so they don't need relationships as desperately as other types may. If someone goes away, they often already have the next one lined up. Another issue is that they tend to always insist on being rightt about everything .But since they don't often lead with logic, this is a problematic conclusion for most thinking types. Often the females tend to be to be very close to their female friends,sometimes so much so that it interferes with the romantic relationship.

I think most ENFJs almost always lead with logic sure we are "feelers" and explain the emotional implications of things when discussing a problem but it's always based on logic

@@tarledamanley2832 i believe you may be confusing intuition for logic. you lead with a combo of a linear goal oriented approach facilitated by basic logic but the conclusions you reach is the real logical mystery... a holistic way of accessing the present and the subconcious in their intetnal pattern detection that is mystifying to others as it often is to themselves guided by the ultimate goal of always always maintaining homeostasis or emotionally enriching and engaging with their external environment. nobody can breathe fresh air into a room like the enfj. and they get stessed if they have too much to analyze... altho they will sometimes err on choices where their logic is not challenging the external situation and they choose to side with the path of least resistance emotionally than assessing the validity of all possivle conflicting alternatives to the contrary. this judgement usually favors social harmony and feelings of others prompts them to action often times at their own expense to ensure equillibrium of the social group... selfless brilliant flawed but so bubbly and sciency enough to make a damn good confidant and invaluable ethics anchor. yall adopt a nerdy intp and dont judge us too quickly... we rarely let any of the good feely stuff under the surface out but we will never stop surprising you. maybe we just lack accountability and commitment to most because we are often unappreciated and misunderstood. give me a worthwhile endeavour i can service and the contribitions will exponentially increase and innovate...

For me... having my person grounds me. I have a person to be my focus and that I have to think of before I make rash decisions. I am recently divorced. He walked away from 13.5 years and I was devastated. Two months of therapy and creating a new routine of work, gym, hiking I found peace. Two months later... I'm still single and living my routine. Everyone I talk to ends up divulging too much information or deciding I have my shit together and they feel inferior (that really hurt, btw). My way of talking and relating means I get all the crazy spelled out for me. I pick all the scammers online and trash them. It's exhausting.

Sorry to hear about your divorce. Remember there are two side of the story in regards to divorce (your story and his). I know an enfj woman and she is nice. After discard by my ex gf just like that with no reason after 5 years of relationship , put me in a very very dark side of psychic dimension. But my intuition was so strong that something was wrong and she was cheating me. After two months I found out that she was cheating me when I used to travel abroad for work. Then I couldn’t even digest the fact after giving so much to her she cheated on me. Then I learned why she did based on 5 years of relationship, then I figured out that she was a narcissistic and I was an ENFJ after reading a hell lot of psychological articles

Ive been so emotionally repressed because of being in love with a narcissist- Ive been extremely awkward in social situations lately and my mind has been going so fast that Im missing alot of what people say in the moment and catch it later. Ya failed relationships make me see the pattern LOVE then feeling unappreciated or belittled then silent treatment=me ending a relationship I don’t know how to break the pattern a love life is feeling harder than me using my intuition to further my career goals which I have had success with each job and always knew when the right time to leave was. _Olive _ You’re sooooo welcome! Sometimes we have to be with someone that we really trust to fully open up and share and be “vulnerable”. Sometimes I think ENFJS can be guarded. Being vulnerable means we take a risk and share our deepest thoughts in hopes that we won’t get hurt or feel dumb afterwards. I think being vulnerable is especially important in a love 💕 relationship because it helps us feel closer to another person because we’re sharing our deepest feelings.

INFP's are too much focused on the self i'd say ....with an INFP both the ENFJ and the INFP are focussed on the feelings of the INFP...However, the ENFJ does not get anything back, because the INFP does not have any Fe....both Fe doms and Fi doms disvalue eachothers dominant function too.

Question about ENFJ relationship (not romantic): We used to have an ENFJ in our team and I liked to work with her. We also connected well and that’s not a small thing to me. She also had a good connection with an INFJ (female) in our team and the ENFJ said several times to me how much she liked the INFJ. A bit more than a year ago, the ENFJ moved on to a different job in the company but we still miss her. So we decided to go out for lunch with the three of us but she canceled a day before. I still had a great time with the INFJ. It was the second time we tried to see the ENFJ and both times the ENFJ didn’t take any initiative to reschedule. I don’t like to chase others or push them into a date so a month passed. Any idea why she’s not taking any initiative? It gives me the impression she is not interested to see us. Did her Ni decide to start a new life? Or her Si blind-spot totally forgetting about it?

ESTP Baaf Oh no 🤦‍♀️. I’m sorry to hear that because it sounds like you had such a great time together. Rejection is never easy no matter the type. However, it may not have anything to do with her not liking you. I bet she likes you guys a lot. As surprising as it may sound, it probably has nothing to do with you personally and I’m sure she feels bad inside that she’s not pushing through to meet with you. It could very well be social anxiety? She might think highly of your social skills and secretly insecure about her own. Also her love language may not be quality time so she could feel tense when it comes to a meeting in a setting outside of work. Sometimes, Enfjs may be in a dark space with inner turmoil, but because you see their feeling side, you have no idea what she really may be going through. I had your exact scenario happen to me and another ENFJ. She cancelled at the last minute so me and an ENFP had lunch alone. I was so disappointed, but I found out months later that she was going through a divorce and I thought she was so happily married. So she probably is struggling with something but I know she probably feels very bad about her response, which is also torturous. Please try to forgive her-(not that you’re mad) but I know it can be confusing. It’s an area that she probably needs to work on but doesn’t know how. Thank you for sharing :-)
