As an ENFJ, my Ti is revealed in being obsessed with topics of interest, my Ni usually choosed the topic, but Ti has to analyze every single detail about it. Sometimes I actually get bummed out when I've learned all there is to learn about something.. because my Ti isn't quite ready for the love affair to be over lmao

I am in awe of how deep and rich this video was. I am still processing all of it. But thanks so much for your faithful representation of the details: how the functions look like based on Joung, what to look out for with each function like that Ti makes you vulnerable to criticize from others and disregard your own view. Thank you so much for this incredible collection of insights. I especially loved to hear that you went to this event and all those great strengths of ENFJ came together in form of Se and the decorations and party at the end, Ni and how to create your own visions within a dark room and Fe and fostering a safe environment to share vulnerably. Could maybe share something that helps to get access to that vision book?

Wow great content this really resonated with me. As an ENFJ I actually really struggle with exercising my introverted/intuitive traits. I think I’m very far on the extroverted side and find my self almost always surrounded by friends or tuning out my internal thoughts with external stimuli of some kind.

I think the definitions of the intuition functions are very good, as they focus on what does not exist. I think that sensation being described in a somewhat similar fashion would create a nice coherency as it's close to the big picture of what their difference is about. With just the word 'experience' it gives the impression that it's really all about the experiences, whereas I'd say that they are mostly are focused on things that indeed exist, with experiences being one of the things that exist, yet not the only things that exist. Some other things exist too which they can focus on like factual information, like for example trivia or information like News. For example, the ISTJ that reads 10s of books with all kinds of facts is also partly due to them having Si. If they read a history book, it is about things that exist(ed) and not things that actually do not exist. I had a neighbor that would watch the news each day of different channels and countries, to be sure he had all the facts. It was not so much about him not trusting the news, because he would always trust it 200%. All this data from news, or books and such fall under the umbrellas of what is considered "existing" while they never actually experienced any of it. However, they are usually much less often interested in things that are not real. What is also nice about such descriptions are that they are sort of neutral in how they sound. Focusing on things that exist does not sound worse or better than focusing on things that do not exist. I think a lot of sensors would even be proud if they hear they focus on things that exist, as that is likely close to what they find interesting

Great video! Thank you! ....yeees. Did not learn what this "boundaries" idea was until mid/late-30's. Now I'm like...wait, people had these their whole lives?!😮 "Me? No, Surely, I'm not lead Fe"...meanwhile, I literally triggered a melt-down LIT-ER-ALLY just SAYING the words "self-care"...whoa....😬😮‍💨😃

As INTJ, I feel like extroverted feelers, are friendly, but eventually have boundary issues.

Interested to know what you mean by boundaries issues… lacking boundaries for ourself or not following others boundaries?

@@asiamwithraenetteleepodcast People that have boundaries, generally respect them as well. I think Fe dom's have a tenancy to assume that other types share their deep since of community, which can be overreaching. That's especially true for some introverted types, who value their space, and don't want everyone knowing their business. If an introvert is ghosting they may feel their boundaries are being violated. The Fe type will think they were helping, but that is not always the case.

@@asiamwithraenetteleepodcastPeople will appreciate the shoulder to lean on, and open ear. Beyond that, intervening without connect crosses boundaries. There are matters of perspective to consider. I'd go so far as to say that INTJ's don't put much value in a since of community at all. We value independence, and we are very forward thinking. Everything is carefully planned, and a lot of effort goes into our processes in ways that may not make since to other people. We plan things months or years in advance, and are often financially invested in those plans, as well as our backup plans. I think that creates a situation where INTJ's have another level of boundaries that others aren't aware of. Simple changes can set us back.

@Alexis Kingsley thank you for the video. This is very inspiring for me as an ENFJ. 💡 I often feel like ruminating, worrying or random ideas/ or thoughts that go deeper into things.. I guess my Ni plays a role here. Feels draining a lot of the time, even though some ideas lead to awe experiences that I've created in the past. If you could give some advice how to "organize the mind" I'd appreciate that. Also any exercises you'd recommend to strengthen Ti (&Te). I also struggle with long-term planning (2-10 years from now) and would love to change that to get the most out of life and not miss out on things because I haven't done my planning part beforehand.

I have a question that I would love to hear your take on. How does a extroverted feeling dom become an individual for themselves. Since they’re constantly accommodating other people’s feelings, how do they prioritize their own? Like in a Fi way I guess.

I am not Alexis, but I am an ENFJ. We have to develop it through giving room for our introverted functions. Our Fi is there, it is just subconscious, so we need to shine a light on it to see it and interpret it through Ni and Ti. That is what I think, anyway. I credit my relationship with God for bringing out the deeper aspects of my character and reminding me to take time for Him and, therefore, myself as well, and He shows me what's on my heart, even when I don't know.

I am a 52 year old ENFJ and yes, if I could suggest something similar to the others here, you may need to learn to stop your normal cognitive thought stream and learn to open up to pure intuitive expression from the inside. That is very difficult to put into words... Anyway, I have been practicing meditation for almost two years now and the connection with myself has been deeply transformative. Since starting this I have made these changes in my life: Change my eating habits to intermittent fasting and reduces sugar and carbs. Spend time daily doing breathing exercises. I have converted from a mouth breather to a nose breather. Relatedly, I perform breathing exercises that first focus in high oxygenation of the body, then raising CO2 level. The connection to the body and mind changes is deeply moving. I have learned to listen, be present and aware around others. I have found compassion and caring for my wife's struggles that used to completely unhorse me. Our marriage is now very difficult. I started learning classical guitar. I valued all of these things my entire life. I mean, I even got massively into classical music theory and composition at age 21, but 5 years later just couldn't continue to to the pure chaos of my life. I thought about music, planned on it for 30 years now but just didn't know how to do it. The inner development of myself made it easy. Anyway, given I think I have an INFP son who is twelve now, I am thankful that I spent time doing those because now I understand him. I was completely blind to who he really was for most of his life until I learned to simply be present, observe and recognize my inner reaction and development around what I have observed.

i noticed that as i grew up and worked my Ti and Se more, i stopped feeling like i had to compensate by people pleasing. Soon afer my Ti became so strong and people today describe me as being very logical and just. I still have empathy and value harmony but more a more complex harmony where people are actually themselves and i make sure to put everythig on the table, RAW. it logically made sense to me
