I'm kind of the opposite tho tbh (also an INFP), she kinda reminded me of that cliche "im quirky" kind of girl who's only good at stuff like arts but isn't very well in a social sense. I mean, yes I can kind of get not wanting to interact too much and being more introverted/reserved, but I'm an infp that loves to focus on both my hobbies and appearance, and I still try to not look so awkward (which yes, I am awkward). As an INFP girl, I can relate to that change. It wasn't about her natural look. She just didn't care about looks or anything else, because in the fear of being hurt, she drove away people and potencial experiences from her life. She was very beautiful before the change, maybe even more than after it, but she wasn't happy with herself. She was an amazing artist, but she never opened herself, she never expressed her true-self. But in the end, her teacher told her that the portrait of her mother was a beautiful piece of art, because she finally opened to others. And even Laney told Zack she felt like Angelina Jolie in Pretty woman, which means, I believe, that she is happier with herself and likes the change she went through. Push her so harshly to that change wasn't right, but he didn't take away who she is, he just helped her to be happy with everything she is and discover more in herself. When I go through any change, I need to feel that it makes sence to me to make that change. And when someone tries to push me to that change, I need to feel an understanding from him. And Zack started to understand Laney and also himself. She changed something in him, just like he changed something in her.

Especially after I looked up the plot of the movie. I guess he was spending time with her as a dare. The dare was to make her more "attractive" and make her prom queen. And then he falls in love with her by accident. Typical romance movie. That is pretty toxic and she wasn't even ugly to begin with.

This guy doesn't seem to be Enfj in my opinion. He seems more fitting as an ESFP. He almost basically a stereotypical ESFP anyway.... She also does not seem like INFP either. I've seen this movie several times and I felt like she could easily be Intp or even an intj. Even the look on her face in every scene alone makes me feel like she is more a thinking intuitive person. She seems very contemplative but I don't see how she what would imply she has a feeling oriented approach to life at all in this movie.

Your husband may has some issues, it could be that he hasn't done much self discovery which makes him hate his sensitivity and tries his best not to show it. Or maybe he had an upbringing that affected his self esteem. It could also be because of past relationships that he built walls to protect himself from heartbreak. Whatever it is I advise you to talk to him kindly about it and tell him how you feel without being defensive or victimizing yourself.

You know what’s interesting about healthy INFPs (especially for females) is that they are capable of showing strong Te in situations and do that rapid fire back and forth in 1:25 with that Fi-Ne wit. Te, (which is in the upper stack of more common ISTJs and ESTJs) appears quite masculine, which can really take people by surprise when it comes out of a woman who is usually reserved. Because ESTJ's are our shadow sides. Sometimes it comes out infront of my ENTP boyfriend. Escpecially since I'm a mother and pregnant again, it's really hard holding in my temper while I'm pregnant 😅. My mom is ESTJ and I always looked up to her not carring what other people say about her think about her, in reality she does actually care what these people say while I really don't care, I reached that point. I can also recomend a healthy ENTP. My boyfriend is one and we grew with eachother, it was a bit challenging at times but now we are stronger than ever before. I prefer ENTP's because they treat you special in a different way. I love how my boyfriend can cry infront of me and tells me things he talks with nobody else about. Also the mocking keeps the realtionship fresh. When a ENTP truelly loves someone he simps very hard especially in a perverted way 🤣. After 4 years and soon 2 children he is still exited when I take of my bra, no matter what I wear he just simps for me and still shakes whenever I stroke him. The way he talk about me behind my back is also very romantic, he always talkes about my good sides and he let's everyone know how much he loves me. I'm am an ENFJ and i used to think that INFP girls were cute because of the fragility and emotional look that some have, make my Fe nature to want to protect and care for them, but if you analise that situation logically, you can clearly see that a unheathy Fi can and probably will hurt your feelings, INFPs can be selffish and ungrateful. Exercise your NiTi, fellow ENFJs, they can avoid a lot of pain.
