Hand on heart, I wasn't a big fan of either of you guys mainly because I didn't know you. After watching you on KZbin since you started this I am now. Thank you for the no bullshit way you present what we are mostly thinking. My love for supercars has fallen off over the years and I'm glad that other people seem to enjoy all different forms of motorsport. Well done to you both. Don't change the way you present what seems to be what people like me want to hear. The truth. 🤟😎👍

Great show fellas. Congratulations on the Supercheap sponsorship. I totally agree with you on the paddles. Although we don't have manufacturing anymore, we need to keep our race cars in an area that supports our heritage. Keep the floor shift, get rid of the transaxle and put the previous gearbox back in. Put the previous diff housing back in too. And most of all, get rid of all the aero. These simple things will improve our sport and create more entertainment. The powers that be need to listen to you guys and listen to us fans. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one.

Great to see you guys back! Hopefully, we see you guys more often this year. Hopefully, you haven't spent your entire KZbin budget on that intro, that was more professionally done than some broadcast organizations that hold the rights to major motor racing events have ever managed... And I'm not taking the p1$s at all when I say that, the editing and sound were top notch. Rusty could do with more makeup and some platform shoes, but overall I'm very impressed.

For what it's worth, just watched the TA2's at Bathurst this weekend. Every bit as entertaining as the Supercars for a fraction of the cost. They look and sound great and without all the downforce, move around a lot more on track. I'll be following this category from now on.

Awesome you guys are back. Great show no BS. Like the bit you guys got on the 86. It made feel better about my difficult to blip and brake when Russel did. Might lift the Throttle pedal a bit. Anyhow, saw Morris driving the Mustang at Bathurst and the other cars. Would you guys make a segment about the Production Cars or even the Improved Production ? What did you guys think about all the fuel spillage at the pits and the tyre failures on the RH front? That was one of the BMW drivers saying that the tyres were rated for 270km/h and they should not be driving on it. What do you think?

@scr0ter3 жыл бұрын
Hey guys, Enjoyed the show and the paddle shift segment, its an example of what’s wrong with trucks these days, we don’t have paddles but there is so much technology assisting the driver now that we are nothing more than steering wheel attendants. And while essentially anyone could drive them now the best drivers can no longer make the difference for there customers or employers, and instead of yelling at outside influences we are asking our trucks why they just did that. The easier that they make the cars to drive the more boring it will get, like driving to the shops. They should just listen to gizzy. He seems to know what the fans want, and while he may just be talking about what he wants the things he’s suggesting will benefit everyone.

Hi Guys, good to see another episode. Here's a little question/brain thought. Is it possible for electric vehicles to match the power/torque curves of previous era race cars? Not just in outright numbers, but in how power and torque progresses. Also, channeling that through a H pattern. I've stopped my video after the Senna video and I can't agree more with what you're saying, but I also recall the EV comment earlier on in the show. If we are going to go EV, I want the rest of the experience to replicate a previous era where the cars were extremely hard to drive and took skill. Same with Supercars, I was never a fan of the sequential gearbox.

Love the show and love the honesty. Two points, James Small comes from a good blood line with his father Les's contribution to the successes that Gricey had, and with regards to D.J.R, Scotty made that car perform better than it really was. A fast car can be a very nervous car to drive, Scotty had the ability and could deal with that but not everyone can. Whether Davo and Anton can find the the performance that Scotty was able to extract from the car is yet to be uncovered. The setup that suit one driver isn't necessarily what suits everyone, that's part of the difference.

I personally think the Supercars should go back to H pattern Gears shifting. They are suppose to be racing drivers, make them work. And take the aero away would be awesome. Really boring for quite some time now... And good on ya Supercheap for coming onboard with Enforcer and the Dude, and have to change the name of the show to Influencer and the Dude...LOL

BTCC! My childhood. Another reason for its success was they showed the races (mostly as a highlights package) on the BBC grandstand sports show. It was a tune-in must see, much like british superbikes and later on world superbikes. Get it on BBC 1, and you get a huge audience.

Supercars has been the pinnacle of Motorsports. Like other pinnacle categories in other parts of the world that provide an avenue for an engineering showcase, Supercars was that category. I agree, simple is better. Touring cars should be as close to the road cars as possible, like back in the day.

Hey guys great to see back on air.... Why the hell are they making it easier to drive these cars around a track. eg paddle shift!! Bring back a "H" pattern shift where the driver has to take a hand off the steering wheel and shift & drive at the same time... Surely there is a strong enough manual "H" pattern gearboxes they can use. Also this should cost less for all teams. Just my 2 cents worth...

Talking about watching a driver work watch Ari Vatanen in Climb Dance. I walk it over and over again and it gets better every time. The pedal and hand work is incredible and then is shielding his eyes with his hand while still correcting and sliding in the gravel. For me Pikes Peak isn’t the spectacular anymore now that it is sealed and the downforce on the cars is at the insane level.

Talking about Mallala and how it will excite the fans makes me reference what F1 was forced into last year, thinking of going back to the Nurburgring, Imola, and Turkey, and going to Portimao, Mugello and the Bahrain "oval" circuit for the first time. Bring back some classic tracks and you'll excite the local fans, and mix up the order a bit, especially in a sport like Supercars! Talking TCR, whilst Symmons Plains isn't an ideal racetrack, the racing was exceptional given the track! The Hondas had a terrible weekend as they don't seem to have the power of the others, especially those Alfa's.
