They should do at least a double header in NZ with supercars, do Pukekohe or Hampton Downs then go to Highlands. Bring the transporters. We have 4 permanent tracks in the North Island, Pukekohe, Hampton Downs, Taupo and Fielding and 4 in the South Island, Ruapuna, Timaru, Highlands and Invercargill.

I reckon sending SC to NZ for a month or so, smashing out one round a week, would be a great thing. Even if it means only doing 4 tracks i.e. Pukekohe and 3 others i.e. another North Island and two South Island, It'd give Kiwi fans the SC action they've been gagging for.

Here's a few related questions for your next episode, Has the move to mostly pay TV by Supercars had much of an impact in the level of sponsorship and the quality of the sponsors the teams attract? How do the teams make money? What percentage come from sponsorship, TV, merch, ticket sales? As someone who has watched the sport since the 80s, to me it seemed the show was at it's peak when Cochrane was about and has slowly lost prominence on the Australian sport scene, and the quality of entertainment just isn't what it was. Am I just seeing things through rose tinted glasses?

On the issue of how much talent should be involved in the 6 hr. In my view the tech regs are the most important thing. By keeping the big money out it keeps the "average joe spirit" in there. Weakening and allowing too much modification is what will ruin it. The current regs already allow borderline too much performance modding.
@gjmob3 жыл бұрын
The brakes are spongey because of regeneration braking.
