+B Rizzo you're going way off, formula d cars are indeed extremely modified. These cars in that video have only bolt ons and fine tuning racing coil overs. Honda chassis are sturdy and well balanced, they're super light and their transmission all have short gear ratios that allow them to stay on their power bands making them perfectly suited for track. It's no coincidence hot version tuners use all kind of Honda platforms all the time and put them against awd and rwd platforms despite all the other fwd options available.

Ah the CRX. So many memories. I think the only one I haven't owned was the DX. I've owned the 88-91 crx hf 's and si's and toyed with them putting in b-series engines and one was a 1.8 with a 1.6 GSR head. I ran 13s in the quarter all day long. It was quicker then most anything out on the street.

Weight transfer to the from from braking gives the front tire more grip. Lock up or in this case, brake the rear and it basically gives all the grip to the front letting the rear slide a bit. It's a rough explanation but it basically swings the car to whatever direction you want more.

Great race. The drivers skill level was the factor that made the win not the car type. Only the CRX and Type R had been modified and although higher output the GTR was stock. Great race though!!!
