한동안 친자매 처럼 단짝 친구로,
또는 마음 통하는 직장동료로 잘 지냈던 누군가와
인간관계가 갑자기 확 꼬여버리는 경험...
살면서 누구나 한두번은 하게 되는 것 같아요.
저 또한 예외는 아니었지요.
어릴 때는 따져 묻기도 하고, 뒤통수 맞았다고
엄청 억울해 하고 그랬는데
그렇게 해석하면 나만 힘들고 아프더라고요.
그래서 오십이 넘어서야
나를 위한 다른 해석법을 갖게 됐어요.
이렇게 정리하고 나니까
그 사람에 대한 원망도, 나에 대한 자책도 없이
마음속으로 정리가 되더라고요...
이 생각 떠올리기까지 혼자 도를 많이 닦았답니다.
그래서 여러분과 꼭 공유해보고 싶네요.

We all have experiences in which our close relationships go in the wrong direction-relationships with those who used to be our best friend like our own sister or a soul mate at work. I’m no exception.
When I was younger, I argued and said that I got stabbed in the back. But it made things worse for me.
I found a different way of looking at it
for my own benefit as I grew into my fifties.
As I see it through a new lens, I don’t feel the need to blame others, or regret my own faults. It’s taken me many years and lots of thought to get to this way of thinking.
