i go with 15 when i don't have time but it's counterproductive. you have to search how many hours you can study productively, for me are 4 up to 6. study more isn't gonna make you a favor if you don't have any kind of break and 14 hours lit give you no time to have a break (just for eating, move to the library and going home and do things that you need to do to stay alive). of course there will be people that can actually do that and remember the info they've studied but not everybody, your brain needs rest to be productive

India doesn't compare to SK sorry not sorry and I am telling as an Indian. Singaporean or Chinese education is similar to SK. I am not telling that India has less pressure, I know the amount of pressure students go through but I think it's definitely not as much as how countries like Singapore, China or SK have to go through.
@megha6718
@megha6718 4 жыл бұрын
@@huhh6969 Are you sure you are an Indian? My cousin lives in South Korea and we often talk about how similar our education pressure is. If you're from a metropolitan city like Mumbai or Delhi and are preparing to give competitive exams like JEE, I can assure you that the pressure is quite similar, if not more. As a sibling of a JEE aspirant, I have seen the number of study hours that go into their schedules. They have the same kind of early morning to late night routines. You may be referring to the board exams in comparison to pressure, but when you see the number of students who go to academies and classes until 11 in the night just for the regular HSC exams, you might want to take back that statement.

To be honest I don't think it's healthy for studying that much. My mom is really strict she believes if I study all the time and get 1 hour of sleep that I would be the richest and smartest person in the whole world she is only doing that so I can get a good job and buy her anything she wants

Lmao my mom and dad would be like that when i was little but then not as much. I was one of the smartest in my school up to college i would say. All highschool i got straighs A’s but that made me depressed, i don’t like studying anymore and honestly i never did, i see it as something i have to do and not for fun or something. It makes sad tho, I actually like knowledge but not school if that makes sense, and if i drop school i feel like im no one as i didn’t have time to discover myself as i was alwayas studying. Probably wont read this but these thoughts haunt me everyday :,(((

To be honest studying for longer times is less productive for me. What I do is I’ll study for an hour and a half to two hours, than take a 45 minutes break and then study for two and a half to three hours and then a 30 minutes break and then another three and a half to four hours if I need, taking 15 minute breaks in between. And this is for all the stuff I have to study for in a day, and usually I don’t have to use the full four hours in between.
