I know that you two thought that the lyrics could have been better but as a predebut fan I can tell you this...the lyrics are very connected to who they are and the specific connection they have with thier music and fans. So you might see them as lacking but fans (and people who actually follow them at all) know that the lyrics to this comeback could not have been better.

Yeah.. Totally agree.. This song really connect everything and every songs from all of their albums. My fav and what make me tears '우리가 보이는냐'(do you see us now) as they are so underrated during debut but considered successful now.. Also yeosang line 'at the desert with nothing we started'-> pirate king💕

The lyrics are connected not only in their title tracks but throughout their album songs too so the story comes together better that way, just to inform you guys. The story will only make sense if you follow their journey in that sense On a side note I hope this is the type of song that can do well in Korea??? They changed up their sound alot for this particular title track so I hope Koreans will open themselves up to ateez Thanks for reacting to them again!

You must watch all their MV's to connect the theories. There is Treasure,Say My Name,Hala Hala, Wave and Illusion bcoz u already watch the Pirate King and Wonderland. It really have deeper meaning that we Atiny still have questions in every Treasure Series. And this Answer is like summary of all.

Ateez are big fans of BTS, and desert reference is inspired by SEA. Also though the song it recalling previous songs they wrote so by quoting them we Atiny know what they are referring. So this is a song for them but also a fan song celebration for all accomplishments so far and hard work we made together. To outside may seem not deep song but this is reason why we ask people to dig in deeper behind the lyrics

I am sure I’m not the only one who thinks this but If you look back on EXO concept of older MVs and storyline you would see EXO fighting with red force and they were captured during their Lotto/Monster/Lucky One era where they got experimented on and where the red force started the cloning process, so X-EXO was created long before ATEEZ had their alter-egos came out.

I can’t speak for anyone else but ever since their debut and their group concept, it fully reminds of EXO concept except ATEEZ aren’t aliens but have split EGOs....ATEEZ vs X-ATEEZ similar to EXO vs X-EXO in my opinion, i’m not saying they copied anyone I was just expressing similarities! I’m so excited about their 5th album i’ve been waiting it to come out. I listened to the songs on itunes and added them to my spotify because the lyrics and song is so deep and meaningful. *I noticed the blankets, clock, yeosang finally getting lines, mirror, butterfly, and Lol Alice in wonderland table they sat at across from their alter-egos from Say My Name (ATEEZ vs X-ATEEZ)* 🤯
