Ning Quen and Sang sang relationship in the book is exactly like how they are portraying them ..for season one and season two Ning Quen character was changing and in season two he was becoming more tender more loving ..and fiercely protective when it comes to Sang Sang He did tell Mo Shen that Sang Sang was his life on that journey he took to the hills .. but he never told Sang Sang to her face that she was his life .. I think he always made Sang Sang feel like she was nothing valuable except as a servant to him ..even tho in reality she was everything to him .. he just never showed it to her ..season one Ning Quen was mostly careless with his words to Sang Sang and he was more of a selfish … womanizing I do what I want .. when I want ..and nobody can stop me kind of guy .. who had a hard time showing real affection.. I think he was good at superficial flirting and liking girls… I think Sang Sang reaction to him bringing back book manic .. causing her to leave him ..made him get out of his self centered world 🌎 and Opened up his eyes to to realize he was about to lose the very one he said was his life .. in season two ..after his brief flirty encounter with his crush the book Maniac .. (which was so rude and infuriating to have to watch Sang Sang witness that ) he did begin to change how he treated and talked to her and fought for her .. Sang Sang was the One he realized he couldn’t live without ( even over the countless beauties he encountered ) ultimately she was His End Game

Seeing Second Senior brother worries for Sang Sang is so endearing to watch. I love how he seems to care for her, it seems that since he saw her on the mountain in the competition she gained a spot in his heart. Remembering how he helped her when the cold disease surged when her “young master” was in the cave was so sweet. I would like to see more of them. Also I gotta say that horse is a paid actor lol 😂 loved how Sang Sang held a conversation with it. It was nice to see Miss Mo again, and it was sad to hear Sang Sang point of view. Hoping to see more of them three as well.

It was really sad when Sang Sang was talking about how no one notices her like she's invisible. 😢 It sounds so lonely. But she was never invisible to Ning Que. He noticed her since she was a baby. He found her. Like Mo Shan Shan said he has Sang Sang in his eyes. It would be nice if he didn't say those confidence-deteriorating words to her from birth. At the same time his honesty with her is sincere, but his words are mean. I dislike him making Sang Sang feel less than & not loved enough. He tells other people what she means to him, but not to her directly. So of course she will doubt his love her. Sang Sang don't worry if no is looking at you. Second Brother Jun Mo can't take his eyes off you & worries about you. So do her parents. In the first season when her mother first saw her at the palace dinner she couldn't take her eyes off her. ✨ It was painful hear her tell Mo Shan Shan to wait till she dies to have Ning Que. 💔 Sang Sang, live longer than Mo Shan Shan and shine brighter than her in all her white clothing. Even in death Ning Que would be betraying Sang Sang if he married Book Maniac.😭🤧

I disagree, others noticed her but not him until later in season 1 when she left him. And in my opinion, he should have fault harder to get her back. Writers, to me, didn't do that part of the story any true justice. Things about her he didn't know. Finding her kin, the noodle soup that helped him cultivate, the one who feed him the heaven reaching pill, and being able to bring forth light. And the reason why, is because he never gave her the opportunity to tell him. When she tried, he always cut her off.

This one look he has every time Shanshan appears breaks my heart because Sangsang deserves so much more after years of taking his ill-treatments toward her. The insults of saying she's not beautiful or what guy would want to marry a girl like her is way to cruel. He even said himself on the hilltop when arguing with himself, after she left him, that Shanshan was beautiful, whereas she wasn't. People describe love in so many ways and what I see him express for her is nothing more than brotherly love. And this is why adding where he says she's his wife makes absolutely no sense. Just more heartache for Sangsang.

陈飞宇的团队下的一手好局， 没有比较就没有伤害，陈凯歌调教的陈飞宇的演技非常不错， 陈飞宇的宁缺把一个普通战场小兵那种有点不自信，耍小聪明，拼命活下去的努力表现的不错，并且把人物的个性展现出独特一面，有点痞气，却不失正义，左眉微微上挑，让人物显出轻浮，不安的躁动，符合年轻人的个性，那个表情不是谁都能做出来。 这一版宁缺表演也不错，但是相对陈飞宇的表演有些单薄，让人感觉人物塑造有些单薄，而且长的太正反而显不出那种为了活明，可以不讲道理的那种亦正亦邪的。 提一句我先看的第二季，后对剧情产生兴趣，又去补的第一季

I do not blame Dylan for his delivery but the director. If it’s the same director. Who knows. The original Nin Que wasn’t a naive boy from the hills who was impetuses. He was angry. He was a boy trying to act like a man. Even tho he was the man. He was cocky and couldn’t care less what anyone though of him. He wasn’t some boy. He calculated. I will give this season a few more episodes. But I still love Dylan. But not in this role.

i think arthur and crystal in S1 have more chemistry than this S2. arthur never look so serious when he is with crystal he look nervous and strattle. dylan here is like aloof and serious wich is look so awkward. although dylan is doing good in this but i think arthur is more suited for the role. arthur characteristic, gesture is more likeable and hateable.
