Just a couple of amateur comments concerning some points which may be changed/lost in the translation (which I feel could be a shame if people cannot get to enjoy the content more "fully") --- kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3XYnGienMyHec0 The meaning of "toushi souou rashii kuzere kata" (歳相応らしい崩れ方) seems a little "off". Below is my own amateur attempt at rephrasing (note: I prioritize meaning over what is actually being said), which can hopefully bridge the meaning better (also note that some nuances are difficult or even impossible to translate perfectly): "However, there are scenes in which she broke her usual (matured) façade and behaved as a girl of her age would normally, although not to the point of turning her completely into a 'flawed/comic relief character'." --- kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3XYnGienMyHec0 "yurusa kagen" (ゆるさ加減) here probably refers to the the design of her character and scenes rather than her character itself. Prob referring to the balancing of her usual serious no-joke attitude with moments of "relief" where her façade is "broken", where this "gap" may be endearing/appealing (moe) to people. --- Thanks again for the excellent work! Omg this is the type of feedback I have been waiting for! You have no idea how much time I spent on HelloTalk trying to decipher the meaning of 歳相応らしい崩れ方 and other words that I'm going to discuss with you later on. The kind native speakers on HelloTalk all gave varying responses so I kinda felt bad bothering them and just said thank you 勉強になりました and kinda winged it based on the context. 4:35 女子的なもえるすき is another phrase that I discussed a lot on HelloTalk. A lot of the responses can't figure out whether it's 燃える好き or 萌る隙 even after listening to this particular part on the interview (which I recorded to allow for better context). I eventually settled for 萌る隙 since Eri Kitamura kept bringing up the topic of Moe. Is this the correct translation? 7:27 ぶら下がっております。 After much deliberation, I decided to use the word "relevant" and I believe she's being humble when she's saying that. Not sure if I got the meaning translated correctly in English. If you don't mind, can I pin your comment so others could see it? Thank you so much!!!

@@3starherotranslation717 I am not a professional with translation, so I can only offer my best opinions as an amateur :) re: 4:35 I am inclined to agree with you on 「萌る隙」 since it seems more contextually correct, in line with the situation of usually serious/mature facade broken from time to time (i.e., the 「隙」 part). Even though the phrase is not something common/official. prob a portmanteau. re: 7:27 I think the nuance is more or less on spot :) In languages, there are often times when the literal meaning don't coincide fully with the intended meaning, especially where it is usually interpreted within a context that is not universal (e.g. nuances only fully understood by a native resident). Which is why there are many cases where perfect translation is just difficult if not impossible. Literally she said that she is being ... eh.. "carried" by the popularity of Genshin and the character (which is to *some* degree true), but I agree too that she is also being humble (her own popularity/talent is prob what got her the role in the first place, and definitely key to propelling that popularity of the character). 'relevant', while not very clear in meaning, actually conveys that "vagueness" of overlapping both meanings in the original form. just my opinion tho ;)

that is in part due to the fact that r/KeqingMains (and also the keqingmains discord server) was one of if not the first subreddit/discord server for a specific character with detailed guides about keqing and also general game mechanics and optimizations that can improve dps. so in keqingmains, there are also a large portion of people that came into the subreddit/discord server for the new tech and dps improving mechanics rather than being a keqing main. fro my experience with the discord in particular, a very vocal minority (potentially even majority) actually dislike and flame keqing as a dps and character because razor and beidou are a better DPSes and easier to get. correct me if im wrong
