Everyone likes to have their own space. So when Idols or artist get to a point in place where someone gets to close to them... making it so difficult that they can't get thru the crowd. it's pretty obvious very uncomfortable!!! One never knows what to expect. So you have to be cautious. It's rude disrespectful.....Give them some space!! This way noone gets hurt. You'll get better a view of Yibo coming in or leaving the place. In my own opinion Yibo has a unique personality. If Yibo's uncomfortable in his surrounding believe me you will know.

When he notices a girl is trying to flirt with him etc he acts cold, which is very understandable! But with girls who are chill around him he acts completely normal, as he does with friends. For example with Ting from Street dance of china! He had a whole prank cam and he held her hand and laughed and smiled at her normally. Ting is a very cool, talented and chill girl, so he probably felt safe talking to her

He is kind to those who don't throw themselves at him. He does his job properly and isn't overly aware of the girls unless he has to be on guard. Some girls act the fool, even during his work. He can do well because this is his work but he won't do anything he doesn't want to. I just think he's straightforward and respectful. I remember seeing this one clip where he was at an event and something fell off the table and while he bent to pick it up, he turned away while doing so bc a girl wearing a skirt was standing close by. At the same event while toasting, he held his glass much lower than the girls, which is usually something you'd do for elders and seniors. He's shy and careful in his behaviour as someone who is a popular celebrity. But otherwise if he is comfortable with you, he's really kind, playful and friendly. Cool Boy only has the best intentions at heart albeit sometimes cheeky like on One More Try😂. We saw how he respected and appreciated good work and talent on SDC3, dancers like Cici and Da Ting. The people he picked fit the vision for his team (mainly hip hop/b-boys/choreo) and wasn’t gender based. He told Cici he would win a towel for her and he did💚💚. How amazing were his battle dances?! I know it's a running joke that Yibo is cold to girls, but half the time he doesn't even realise what he's doing because it's not him being cold, it's just him being oblivious. He genuinely does not realise what he's doing wrong 😂 That being said, he doesn't ever purposely put a girl in an uncomfortable situation. He is a true gentleman when needed. I try to do that too, and you're right. People get so offended if you stand for what's right in protecting someone or yourself. Had to do that yesterday to a woman who was attacking someone's sheep fleece, and this shepherd was a young boy. Not on my watch. I did not use foul language, just put my hand up and turned my back on her to block her out of the discussion. The boy's Mother and I finished our business transaction, and I bought the fleece for my research. I couldn't believe that anyone, let alone someone who sort of knew me and what I was working on, could think to argue with me over different wool that goes into my sock yarn. Thank you for letting me air this. I think I needed to write it out. Who are these people, being rude to young kids trying to raise better wool domestically? I going to buy more from him!!

In my opinion, even the clips that are meant to show him being "mean" are not mean at all. He just treats girls like he treats everyone else. Being nice to girls does not mean you have to treat them like babies or only say "flowery" words to them. We can handle honesty, constructive criticism, competition, etc. just like anyone else. That is one of the main character traits Yibo is known for, his honesty. To me it seems like he treats everyone like his friend because he is so casual and just says whatever is on his mind. So I really admire that about him, and I love that he treats everyone the same. 💚 ~:~

The thing with yibo is a classic case of not differentiating btw men and women. It's got nothing to do with the fact that they're girls. Huge common misconception. He's naturally distant from everyone until he gets to know them. And if they mesh well and he feels comfortable with them he'll be like a puppy following them around, smacking them, being dorky. That's his way. He's still very young and with time as he meets more people, he'll grow and evolve. It's all a part of growing up. Not everyone is the life of the party in a room full of strangers. He's his own young man and very much a gremlin lol.

💚 i've def seen those clips before and i understand what you mean. when i first became yibo's fan, i also only saw that one side but after watching more and more of his clips, i realized he was simply oblivious sometimes and he treats men and women equally (which i think is where the misunderstandings some from since he doesn't treat them any differently from a guy).

Yibo is the sweetest guy ever. He may look distant but if you really get to know him and let him feel comfortable, surely he will be a great friend and companion to the people around him. Let's just understand that not all people can easily interact with others. Moreover, i love how he treats the girls. He is considerate but he doesn't treat them as fragile and delicate as what most men do just because they are pretty and cute. I kinda feel slightly annoyed those who act fragile even though men and women are equal couz it's like taking advantage to things just because you feel like you're supposed to be given extra attention.

I recently saw an interview where he was asked wether he wants to date and after saying no he asked wether this industry would even allow him to say yes. I think for someone with his following he’s just very aware of what being „flirty“ could do, hence why he prefers to keep things professional. People who are into outdated concepts like chivalry and lady vs. gentleman dynamics think women should be treated extra nice as the "weaker" gender. What I'm seeing here is Yibo treating women the exact same way as he treats men. His attitude only differs based on the situation, level of closeness, and how he's being treated by the other person -- whether it's a woman or a man. When you make him uncomfortable, he'll draw a line. When you're competing with him, he'll treat you as a serious opponent and take advantage of your weaknesses. I think Yibo is just not someone who flatters anyone, but keeps it real. I think he's just good at enforcing personal boundaries even as a star, and I respect him for that. It seems like he was a bit uncomfortable with those women who were being flirty.
