💬Plot summary:
Fan Xian grew up in a small town by the sea with his grandmother, following a sudden visit of a poison master, his peaceful life quickly morph into one filled with danger and hardship. I love how Fan Xian is pretty much friends with both princes while at the same having chosen neither side. The second prince is my favorite; there's something about him that's really endearing. I'm also super excited because we're getting closer and closer to seeing XZ's character, and he just seems so serious and angsty, and I am living for it. Additionally, this drama should have comedy added to its genres because I feel like there's enough of it. :)

Only a third time around do I caught the subtleness of this plot line. Very so often, the story remind you that the exact saying from his old world and this world develop independly of each others due to not sharing the same history. Once in a while this reminder feel very slightly shoe in and doesn't necessary flow with the scene but all set up for this exact moment, making you guess what is a conspiracy and what isn't. The story is super efficient in its telling. All the events that once passed, ended up getting farther and farther develop and intertwine with other plot. In a hand of a weaker writer, the story arc of this poem would have just ended with arc 1. But now it accumulating to this.

I have been watching Chinese TV for a while now, this show is by far the best written and acted of any. I ask the uploaders to please do a short video on 1. how you go about making the subs, show us the amount of work that actually is required. 2. a little info on the writers and producers, actors, Both of these to help viewers appreciate the uploads more.

Wan xian is outrageously funny. 1 of the best shows I have seen that incorporates a comedic Genuis in it and it works good enough to not destroy the serious character of the show. Characters galore! My only criticism is on the silly romance parts.
