this was so cute. i'm so glad kamito met kanae in that one game, I would have never found out about him otherwise. he probably wouldn't have made it into the CR tournaments due to lack of popularity, as well. now he's established so many friends from the CR cup, like virtual gorilla or tachibana from valheim. watching clips of kamito is a different level of purity, I swear.

Well if you think about it, many of them do this as a job and I’m sure want to maintain some form of professionalism (as professional as u can get while playing vidgy games and memeing haha). But if your mom walked in the middle of a work zoom call you’d be embarrassed. Plus there’s the added level of trying to keep their identity secret. Many are hyper vigilant about not letting things slip to betray their identity. The more info someone has on you the easier is to connect the dots and figure it out. I’ve noticed Japanese streamers are especially concerned with letting those around them have their voices heard and I think this is part of it.
