Actually surprised me, I was sure she was older. Even if she was talking about K-on's manga (which I doubt, I think it only became popular when it got animated), the manga started in 2007. Even if she was at the end of high school then, and was 17, she would only be 30. My honest to god guess was that she was mid-30s, but I guess that's out of the question since I very much doubt she purposely lied about a detail like that. Basically, assuming she was watching K-on as it came out, the youngest that would put her at is 25 (p sure that's younger than some of the other hololive members) and the oldest is 30 (which 99% isn't the case).

Ruby and Sapphire's release year was 2002. Elementary school is 8 years long. Elementary school starts when one is about 7 years old. This gives us a 7-15 year old Marine in 2002. Bring it to the present and we have 25-33 years of age. It IS a rough estimate, but those are the two major constraints around which Marine's age should be. And yes, if Marine is 33 at present, then she was likely in her last year of elementary school when those drawings were made.

I drew a lot in elementary to high school just like her but I barley made any progress in my skill cause I just drew random stuff that popped into my head without much thought. You can't improve your drawings just by drawing a lot. You actually have to be in the mindset of wanting to improve and doing new things to try and make your art better. it is something in have only been doing recently and it helps a lot. Seeing art that you like and taking techniques they use and trying to useit to your own work and seeing the improvements is very satisfying.
