@@shimobesub Indeed what he said was like "what's the hell pudding in English?" so it may be interpreted in several way, it may be confusing for even Japanese viewers (some of them said "pudding, didn't you just say it?"). So, it is NOT definitely wrong. It just depends on the context. I've watched your clips and found them good translation, thank you!

No the translation is correct. Pudding in Japanese & English is the same but he didn't know that. So he was asking what's pudding in English. Just like how a non-Japanese speaker would ask what's pudding in Japanese. Naiyan = what is it? in kansai dialect

@@logicoom8862 Ah, seems you learnt some Japanese. I can tell he pronounced "pudding" in English and Japanese. 0:39 he said "pudding" in English accent. 0:41 he said "purin" in a Japanese sentence. "eigo de purin te nan-yanen." it means, he uses "pudding" and "purin" properly depending on what language he says in and he knows "pudding" is English and "purin" is a loanword from English in Japan. Including me, almost Japanese know "pudding" is English word and use "purin" in a Japanese sentence. Japanese vocabulary has a lot of loanwords and almost Japanese aware of them are from English(or other language's) word. as I said before, what the sentence means is depending on the context. in this case, it means "what the hell made me said pudding in English". yes, as you noticed it, he said "eigo de purin te nan-yanen" in kansai dialect. when Japanese people who is not from kansai say in kansai dialect, it mostly has certain meaning. not only literally meaning. "nan-yanen" is a typical tsukkomi word. it has a meaning "Why it would turn out like this?", so he tukkimi-ed to himself to have said pudding in English. sorry for long reply. I'm sure you studied Japanese so I believe you can see what I said. I didn't intend to say "you are wrong, I'm right", but it requires some Japanese language's little deeper explanation to explain what Kuzuha said.

So I thought he said pudding in English correctly but he wasn't sure. "My favourite food is..." "Pudding" *did I said pudding correctly in English?* "What was pudding in English again?"
