I’m so impressed with the gentlemen. He’s not only unbelievably talented, but look at the peace and happiness that oozes off of him. This man has figured out how to live life to the fullest. This is so inspiring to watch, and grow as a person. Thank you for the videos

Exactly my feelings.. I just told my 13-yr old niece she should follow Shibasaki sensei.. it's a rare gift to know such souls!
With every stroke he does I think "no that's too much color in the wrong place, it's going to ruin the picture!" but then it turns out beautiful I guess I still have to work on that "without hesitation" part
Shibasaki san I looked away for like 5seconds and suddenly the entire painting just came together on its own

It is true to whom already know the basic and foundation "paint without hesitate". XD, when you have a very strong foundation, the last thing you'll do is spread out your wings and show off your talented skill to audiences.
I know I just watched you paint this, but still, I'm baffled by how you turned blobs of color into a man's face! I watched the whole video in a state of disbelief. Amazing! This was super cool to watch. Thank you for sharing Shibasaki-san!
Amazing work!!! Even though I don't speak Japanese these videos just keep getting better and better! Such a beautiful watercolor

I have seen artworks that have made me emotional, but this is the first time that seeing the process of it all brings me to tears of happiness. I love using watercolors, but still I have never used it the way you use it; so quickly, so boldly, so cleverly. Thank you, sensei, for opening my eyes again to the possibilities of watercolors.

I love your channel so much.Your work is so emotionally touching
I just love this style of painting, so loose and expressive and full of rich complex colors and tones and just artistry and total mastery of the artist's chosen medium. This portrait is so beautiful, just stunning. His voice is so calming--"paint without hesitation, no stopping, don't be afraid of dark colors." These are exactly the things I'm afraid to do when I paint and what I need to hear. I feel so moved and inspired.
Dear master Shibasaki the ease and confidence of your painting has struck a part of my heart and soul and made me a bit emotional about what god-given talent some people can have! I am a Bonsai artist from Holland and can draw a bit myself...but seeing you at work makes me very humble in a good way and it makes me want to draw some more in the future! I wish you better health and much more time to make your wonderful artwork! And now I am going to watch some more of your amazing videos! どうもありがとう Dōmo arigatō Hans van Meer. KARAMOTTO BONSAI.
I watched this after the 5-minute boat painting and now I'm reminded of The Old Man and the Sea. 💖

Thank you so much for this video! I've been waiting for my paint to dry and I've been too cautious and light with my brush strokes. You've inspired me to be bolder with my watercolor painting and let the colors bleed together sometimes. Again, thank you very much!

I really love how much personality this painting has- I just see this gentleman and can imagine meeting this world-weary but kind fisherman mending his nets by the shore after a long day. Like...you can just imagine what he would be like as a person, how he would talk, what kind of stories he would tell. I love this very much
I don't known why but watching him paint satisfy me very much and he also teaches us to paint freely instead of stringently .Arigatou very much 😃
