40:38 i started crying. this is the first time in the whole series you see him speak out the thoughts in his heart, and he doesn’t say much but there’s so much conveyed pain. so many events are implied in this simple exchange. he realised he wasn’t in his mum’s heart from when he was abandoned, when she blamed him for feeding his sister walnuts, all which caused him sm trauma. there was nothing that could reconcile him. and in sg, he was broken even more, with responsibility and aching with longing. when he went to sg, he left his heart with li family who had loved him.

The people that make him smile is JianJian and his real family. About Ling Xiao and JianJian getting married, marriage isn't just about how much money you have, how nice the car is, how big the house is. I can literally rant on every single episode about Chen Ting to release my frustration

Ling Xiao's mom, the actress, acted really well. Her vibe has always been off since the vsry start. She radiates that vibe that makes me wanna throw slippers at her everytime she appears. Other actors too 'cuz they were able to portray their characters really well, down to the vibes.

Little orange doesn't even hate ziqui or her friends or even her brothers father. The reason she's so rebellious is because you as a mother are annoying and whiny. Your son hates you because you abandoned him got a new family and then cam to pick him up out of no where. Then you got into an accident and he was forced to stay with you because he had to be a parent to not only you but for little orange as well. Taking care of you he got burned because you wanted through a tantrum. Developed sleep loss and a huge a king fo stress from things he shouldn’t have to be doing.
