I'm only 17 episodes in, but it's obvious from the way he tears up the screen and gets emotional when talking about Zhou Zishu that Zhang Zhehan grew attached to this role. He wasn't just playing the character, he became the character. I think he was probably so immersed in the role that the ideal type of love Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing have, along with Zhou Zishu's character arc made him feel lonely. Either way, he brought something special to the character and it was him that made us fall in love with Zhou Zishu.

I love Zhang Zhehan’s professionalism and poise when he talks about his character. I respect him greatly. Not only does he have the ability to infuse a character with life, but he also has a humble attitude regarding his role on the team that made Word of Honor happen.

I get the feeling of 'loneliness' because of how intensely Zhang Zhehan portrays Zhou Zishu. Watching him feels very sincere, as if he has become Zhou Zishu himself... The level in which he immersed himself in his character is so deep that he gets teary-eyed when he thinks of the drama ending. What a dedicated actor. I think I'll follow his career from now on, although bg dramas are usually not my cup of tea.

No no no... how can I be forgetting about his previous characters, Long Feiye(Legend of Yunxi) and Xu Jin(The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion). Those 2 are special character to me, as well A-Xu😭. I've been knew him since Legend of Yunxi, I watched it on 2019, because of Long Feiye I even read the novel although at the first time I'm a bit lazy due to so much chapters but I enjoyed it so much until now😭 Zhang Zhehan, I've aways support you, many projects will come to you and I hope you can always be my favorite Chinese actor. Does anyone feel like he went through a massive character bleed with Zhou Zhi Shu? Considering his style of acting, it isn't particularly surprising that the character bled into him nor do I think this is the first time it happened in his acting career. But his attachment to Zhou Zhi Shu seems much stronger than his previous roles, as if Ah Xu and him were one being, a part of his existence rather than an extension. Perhaps the loneliness stems from living in an alternate reality for 4 months, a reality one experiences but never quite owns. Hence, he had so much difficulty letting go, its like trying to remove a piece of yourself. I can't imagine how it must have been like, floating in a headspace with thoughts and feelings that are yours but also not quite yours while being distinctly aware you need to let go.

None of his previous dramas were worth watching....I tried every one of them after discovering ZZH in WOH and got bitterly disappointed....whereas bg dramas are more to my lane than bl. His chemistry with none of his previous costars came even close to what he has with Gong Jun in WOH 😫😣 . So the conclusion I reached was bad script and lack of effort from the directors. But I can totally understand why he took lame roles and subpar scripts. Acting is his job. He has to pay his own bills at the end of the day. So he took whatever was available to him. Hopefully he'll get better scripts after the success of WOH....cause here is an actor who has so much to give if only he can get a good script .

Yeah...as char, zzs was a lonely at heart before meeting wkx. And compared with his previous dramas off set, he was more lonely than before. GJ was practically active in communication in half end of the production, but with JJY he joked alot throughout the production (perhaps because JJY was very talkative as well).
