Hey HU i love your videos. Great Job! I am from Macau and we are also proud of our Pasteis (Plural) de Nata because you know, my town had been under a lot of Portuguese influence. So after the pandemic when you visit China and Asia again, please visit my beloved and small hometown Macau and you will enjoy some of the best pasteis. BTW, here we never get the pasteis from KFC (sometimes we think it is insulting to get them from fast food chains) because you can find many bakeries here make good pasteis (some authentic Portuguese and many Macanese styles). 加油。

@@WhosHU I made the pastry but the pastry was not successful :( .... I think it may due to the butter application step gone wrong. I melted the butter and applied on the dough. It turned out to be messy and butter oozing out from the dough all over the place. Ended up I didn't use all the 115g butter. The filling, however, is nice but there is 40% of the egg filling left after I made 12 pieces of tarts.
