@nutherefurlong: no, because: 1) armor alone attacked by infantry is easily destroyed by a special attack called overrun. Armor and infantry work well when they are guarding each other's back. 2) armor costs a lot of 'credits' so you'll have WAY less then units on your map than your opponent. Then you'll have to deplete your skill fast to defend your precious armor (which is bad) or you'll let your armor die, but then you'll have almost no one on the map. 3) armor isn't great against bunkers.

@jkantor267: I wish you could try it, because the depth and inventiveness of the design can be only appreciated first-hand... there is just so much more to it than my description (or any description) can express... Everyone I played it with, including those that were skeptical because of the dry / abstract premises, had a total blast with it! If you look on BGG you'll see that the only negative comment is from a guy who disliked the general idea so much that he didn't actually play the game!

@NaturalTwentyFilms: no ice, no cards, no chits, no luck AT ALL! And yet the game is full of twists and surprises, and loaded with tension. A miracle of a design, trust me!

Yarg...Designers should never write instruction manuals. It's like when a programmer tries to design an interface or gui. It's almost always a complete failure.
