handy reminders thanks. on different note, how about a vid on retrieving keys, papers,rings washers etc from heater vent. the defender 300 i use at work has so many tobacco papers down there, no hot air rises

Out of interest, roughly how much did this Defender cost? I ask because I am looking to get one a fairly restricted budget (around £4000), so want try and avoid having lists of things that need replacing soon after buying the vehicle.

Might pay you to browse Ebay and Auto trader for prices. This one is all original with the proper 300tdi rather than an older vehicle with a Tdi conversion which might turn out to be cheaper than £4000.

Is that a typical list you would generate for a Defender Chris? I'm asking as I had almost all of those issues in my engine bay as well.

Yes it appears to be so. The older they get the longer the list.

2.8 is not original to the Defender. www.mdengineering.co.uk/ try the people on the link I have provided. They sell and install those engines.
