This is what I like about the car enthusiast world. No 2 people like the same thing. I used to Love blue silicone hose, polished parts etc. Now I like the crackle black finish, subtle add ins where possible too.

@@TheParrottBros I actually prefer older engine bays where there's no plastic covers and you can see what does what. A beautifully restored Jaguar or even MGB engine bay is a thing of beauty. The lack of plastic also makes changing things like air filters easier in some cars. But the plastic Audi TT covers look very neat and are actually relatively easy to keep clean, hiding a multitude of dirt and dust beneath. One of the bolts holding the battery cover in place on my car has seized and has resisted the efforts of better mechanics than myself. Luckily I can move the cover aside sufficiently to put the battery on a trickle charge when necessary. Keep up the good work: I do enjoy your videos.

How would one relocate the battery? Seems like it would be a pain to do. Also what would one need to put a 225 intake manifold on a 180? I want to get a fmic but hate the way the 180 routes the pipes and how they look.
@TheParrottBros2 жыл бұрын
Yes you could swap the inlet manifold to a 225 one for that desired routing, battery relocation isnt too bad if you buy a v6 battery cable set as they have the battery in the boot from factory
@jungillestt022 жыл бұрын
@@TheParrottBros oh yeah I forgot the vr6 had the battery in the back. On the fmic do I need anything besides the piping? I have a silicone pcv kit that eliminated a bunch of hoses
