You’ve got some badass rides, but I started chuckling to myself, smiling and shaking my head when you sat her on the ground. That’s one bad machine you’ve built there man! Congrats on a dream built true!!

I love it except for the black wheels, even if they had caps. I think a lighter color like the cream on the wires that came with it or some other contrasting color would look a lot better.

I don't see this build as destroying a classic I see it as taking something that had no use today and making it work better. It couldn't do highway speeds now it can and it is very likely to put a smile on someone's face. That's what we need more of every day.

I was dying to find out how you got it so far before the Lone Star Round-up, it was looking really good on Saturday. It was so awesome to get to meet and talk to you, Slick, Mortske, and your beautiful family, you are truly a blessed man. I asked Hot Rod to pick out a sticker for my daughter (she picked the one with you on the donkey) so if you get the chance you can tell her my daughter loved it.

Such a frickin cool car! Watching the original “Will it run” inspired me to get a model a. I originally went to look at a 66 impala but it was clapped so my dad told me his buddy had a frame for a hundred bucks. Same day I came home with a model a from in the back of a long bed. But a huge inspiration has been this series! I’m building a lakes modified roadster so basically a tub but on a budget of a 20y.o engine machinist working for $18/hr. But it’s awesome to see your view man!

After your comment about whether or not this build is to other's liking or not, it's your vision. One thing about the car community is, whether or not a build is liked or not, one can still appreciate the vision to get there and the work it takes to complete it.

It looked fine before. I'm not a fan of this build. I don't hate it but I don't think it is necessary to do such things to a car that is nearly 100 years old. I wouldn't have minded the previous model A being made into a hot-rod because it was in greater need. This is just the early stages of Puddin going down the fork in the road of other popular YT creators. I don't begrudge him his success because he has a family to provide for. It happens to all the ones who are blessed with a bit of luck and work hard. It gets awkward watching someone splash money around at the same time they are always touting budget friendly. It's not for me but I'm sure others have their own reasons.

Puddin' Pup! I like this Model A series. It gives us newbie mechanics a chance to watch a mild hotrod build without it being over the top and ridiculous. It's more relatable than some of the other "car build" channels which are like "Watch as we turn this Mercury into a hotrod helicopter." or something like that.
