After your comment about whether or not this build is to other's liking or not, it's your vision. One thing about the car community is, whether or not a build is liked or not, one can still appreciate the vision to get there and the work it takes to complete it.

It looked fine before. I'm not a fan of this build. I don't hate it but I don't think it is necessary to do such things to a car that is nearly 100 years old. I wouldn't have minded the previous model A being made into a hot-rod because it was in greater need. This is just the early stages of Puddin going down the fork in the road of other popular YT creators. I don't begrudge him his success because he has a family to provide for. It happens to all the ones who are blessed with a bit of luck and work hard. It gets awkward watching someone splash money around at the same time they are always touting budget friendly. It's not for me but I'm sure others have their own reasons.

Puddin' Pup! I like this Model A series. It gives us newbie mechanics a chance to watch a mild hotrod build without it being over the top and ridiculous. It's more relatable than some of the other "car build" channels which are like "Watch as we turn this Mercury into a hotrod helicopter." or something like that.

Such a frickin cool car! Watching the original “Will it run” inspired me to get a model a. I originally went to look at a 66 impala but it was clapped so my dad told me his buddy had a frame for a hundred bucks. Same day I came home with a model a from in the back of a long bed. But a huge inspiration has been this series! I’m building a lakes modified roadster so basically a tub but on a budget of a 20y.o engine machinist working for $18/hr. But it’s awesome to see your view man!

Suggestion : For oiling up your engine before firing it,disassemble an old dead distributor ,remove the gear,cut the shaft housing off at the top. Now you can drop the shaft into housing ,connect a hand drill to spin your oil pump up to pressure .I welded a small nut on the top of the shaft to attach a drill to. Simple and handy as a pocket on a shirt :)
@jojomorgan85564 ай бұрын
@Puddin gotta have Zinc oil additive my left nut... just use Shekl° Rotella° Diesel engine oil... they don't screw with the recipe. It still has the right stuff for the flat tappet cam & lifter setups.. AND IT DOESN'T COST A FORTUNE like the special additives do. And whoever says that you can't paint chrome hasn't looked at nearly every the police vehicle in America... they paint the factory chrome wheels black... you CAN paint it. ... and it sticks well enough if you actually take the time to prep it ( or you cheat and heat it up good and hot and spray it with water while it is. .... ( that usually causes the chrome to peel off ) 🤣

The key to any project is actually finishing it. Those who think modifying a car detracts from its original design but then again it’s really in the eyes of the beholder. Probably Henry Ford would have never envisioned the stance along with a V8 especially a Chevy engine . When you get to drive it down the roads or highway will be the ultimate thrill and accomplishment Puddin I can’t wait. Be careful and stay safe my friend God love ya brother.
