Greg the stop start on a lot of cars is a strange thing when I had my Astra 1.0 eco tec when the front demist was on the stop start did not work I think they have like a built in monitor that thinks to much power being used so it cuts out the stop start so not to drain battery

Biggest mistake 'mechanics' make on the corsa chains is not removing the sump. Impossible to line up the cover accurately. The result being an iniment oil pump failure. Vauxhall put out a TSB for such yet the average garage continues to make a total pigsear of it.
