I want to build one but i don't have a engine block to use as a dummy. I have been searching on the net for dimensions but only showed complete stand. Great job allways good to try something new. 👍

Anthony, My name is Al, You are doing what many guys would love to do.... Taking the time and effort to do this on your own with some limited equipment compared to some shops. You are thinking this out. You are learning as you go. You should be Very proud.. I do build these things and fully understand what you are doing.... Keep up the goo work and effort. Al @ Easy-Run

Glad you liked it Paul.....This stand has worked out awesome! One thing I recommend is mounting your radiator on a quick release system or put one side on a hinge so you can easily remove it or swing it out of the way for cam swaps!

I originally ordered it thru J.C. whitney but they no longer carry them. As far as the box, I got that when I was in the Marines (Might try a surplus store)! Summit racing has a 165 piece SAE kit #SUM-CSUM2007. Also if you get on Ebay and type in Grade 8 SAE bolt youll see all kinds of kits from rivercityindustrialsupply, which is who I will be ordering from soon! Im almost done fabricating the stand and ready for paint! Video to follow in a few days!..... Thanks!

I would put your adjustment bolts pointing up or in. That way I don't rip your ankles off. Would not feel too good

Also a shroud for the flex plate would be nice.

What size tubing are you using ?

I used 1.5" x 1.5" x 1/8" for the main frame then used 2"x2"x3/16" for the parts that slide.
