Nice recording and narrative. I like the statistics and lann speculation part of the narrative. As for the name originI got a different narrative about North and Ngothi They told me ngothi meant North hence Kwa Ngothi was North Kinangop

Curb my ignorance because the last and only time I was in kinangop was back in the 90's when I was a kid as we were visiting a certain aunt of mine, how I remember engineer was a small town, where we ordered chips za 30 bob tukaletewa na sinia, so what made me not like the place was bad roads(moi era), (I have a phobia for bad roads) and also at my aunts place who is a serious farmer and a big chuck of land had her toilet like 50metres away from the house plus the whole area had no electricity luckly my aunt had solar power but the area was so dark the darkness would "swallow" the light😂😂😂, even if am not afraid of darkness, wee kuna giza ingine si ya kawaida, plus I was afraid of staggering my way and fall into her dam
