This guy is the best professor ever. Best lecture series I have seen, close second being the Yale Art History course on KZbin. However its easy to dramatize paintings through history, Dr. Rogers is the best science lecturer I have seen. Changed what I want to plan to study completely.

Tamarisk are native to the Middle East. They sometime used to mark wells there. They grow close to the Colorado River near the city of Grand Junction. They are consider a noxious plant there. There is the Tamarisk Coalition there which one day hopes to get rid of them. Another "tree" the people around there would like to get rid of is the Russian Olive.
