I have a brand new powerball 2 coming my way! I love this demo. It's good that not only they show you the different channels, functions but also the differences between this and the first powerball. I think I will always purchase Engls through out my life for as long as they're still in business. Quality build, amazing sound and to top it all off, they're beautiful to look at in my opinion. Or maybe that's just crazy from a huge fan ;-) I would recommend any of these amps in a heart beat.

I went to the Engl showroom in Hollywood last February and played on a majority of the Engl amp line. I loved the pb2. I'm seriously thinking of ordering one this week.I have one question - How are the mids on that fucker? Does it cut through in a band situation?"

+John Doe Absolutely perfect in my opinion. I've gigged with this baby a lot since purchasing it. the middle boost function on the amp is really handy for solo stuff mate. with the Z9 footswitch you can turn this function on or off and also switch between master volumes A & B. You couldn't cut through the mix in a live situation any more clearer if you tried in other words. Oh and I forgot to mention the middle boost function also has an indervidual EQ knob so you can set it as subtle or as big as you like. Haha get one dude you will not regret. they're built like tanks too which is a real bonus.
