Thank you for showing the extended highlights and then thank you to the players and he coaching teams for a good honest game- no professional game is perfect but D Mac won it for NZ (as an England supporter)- try saving tackle on Freeman, stopping FW going under the posts- got better at kicking and all around passing game- congrats. I said MS would have to play like Barry John from '71 for England to win- Come On ! It's on for the weekend- keep the front row up and we're there- a lot of points and drama to come but 1-1 is better than anyone would have predicted after the World Cup.

Felt like the game got away from England in the last 20. We tried to out territory and possession NZ and failed. Kicks got too long and it gave Beauden et al the chance to get out of the corners we tried to box them in. That led to NZ territory and possession which forced silly pens - England gave away 2/3 in the first half and 6 in the last 20 mins. Would have preferred to see George stay for his leadership, Mitchell for his kicking, and Marcus for his ability to create. Felt like a decision to try and be really hard to beat at the end, rather than going all out for a win. There is so much potential in that back line and we have a really mobile back row. Feels like counter attacking and playing possession are the next big steps we need to make to really make the top 4 a top 5.
