I've just started squad training with wales u16's and this is very helpful even if it is English! Always remember the North vs Shopshire game! 5-2 to wales

I do hockey I'm really good at helping the scorer get goals cuz I'm usually midfield or wing. I need more practice a goal scoring :) this is good tips

Good lord I haven't played field hockey since my school days. Brings back all my old mid fielder tricks! lol. Can't believe they don't wear shin guards any more. I used to have black and blue shins from getting whacked! lol

We all still wear shin guards, a lot of people don't wear them during a solo practice however.

In a drive the ball isn't suppose to be hit like a golf ball. The very first hit was way too high

You can go get a tennis ball and go to sports direct if there is one near you go buy a wood one for like 5 to 9 pounds or dollars were ever you are in the world :)

***** Why not? Wouldn't left handed players prefer lefty sticks?

Possibly but those sticks aren't made. If a left sticked player tackled a right handed player face on they would collide, is mainly for safety reasons. But most leftys that try hockey do not find the stick situation an issue.

I am a lefty and I actually have no problem with the hockey stick since I am more used to twisting my left wrist, but I can't hit with power.
