Correction: You circled Cuba not Hispaniola. Hispaniola is to the east, the island that contains Haiti and The Dominican Republic. Christopher Columbus first arrived in San Salvador.

I would be happy to be your geography consultant. Other inaccuracies: You labeled Mexico as Central America, where it actually is further north. In fact Mexico didn't exist until well after British colonization began. What you call Mexico was still at the time called New Spain.
