It is more about the fact that the guy becomes a pro fighter in Oktagon. The guys that won the czech Oktagon challenge earlier now belong to the biggest MMA celebrities and earn a lot

That's more than min wage plus it gives the fighter freedom to fully dedicate himself to fighting because it's full time job money, excluding sponsorships and other contracts, prize money etc. It's much more than what most fighters will ever have. Just go check how much fighters get paid on average. They barely get a 2K per fight. UFC pays their newcomers 10K minus tax. These guys will get 25K straight away.
