Courtney Lawes has such a sweet offload, it's so quick and discreet. It got Chris Ashton a try of the year award in 2010. His carries should be a key target for support runners.

6:08 - 6:23 that was the best bit of passing play I have ever seen from England. Real shame they didn't get the try as it would've definitely been try of the tournament. Unlucky for Halfpenny though, speedy recovery to him.

2:29 what steve walsh didn't see. All last year Wales didn't drive straight pushed early and got illegal advantage. With Potire best scrum ref in the world they wouldn't get away with it. :)

***** I would have agreed with you if it weren't for the England - Irish game. England seemed to win most of the scrums in that game, albeit it wasn't as bad as say 2010, where Ireland were getting humiliated in the scrums. Out of those, only Warburton and Lydiate would be in the top 10 really. When you look at the England's pack, you can see why: Dan Cole, Dylan Hartley (dirty little shit, but unreal hooker), Chris Robshaw, Courtenay Lawes, etc.. I think England tips the best scrum.. just.

Wales didn't turn up they looked tired lethargic even against Scotland they looked tired although they hammered them it was there back line which is up there with the best but there forwards they still looked tired Adam jones Hibbard need a long rest I think .

When Wales made up the majority of the lions squad and the fixtures favoured England during the 6 nations i knew Wales would struggle. When Gatland played Jenkins, Warburton and Lydiate while carrying injuries in the first game i knew it was a sign of things to come. The stop start campaign by Wales was a mixture of lethargic and injured players who never really performed. This wasn't a washed up Wales but more of a wake up call and possible changes to come. Remember England hadn't won a triple crown since 2003. Wales won the 6 nations 2005,08,12,13. England won it once in 2011 in that decade.

***** England, on form, are pretty much the best team in the world. They can have the All Blacks, RSA and Australia on a good day, and not on fluke. You have to tie in consistency when considering a squad's strength. Robshaw, Hartley and Cole wouldn't look out of place in the All Blacks. All 3 of them are world class, as demonstrated in their consistent performances against tri-nation teams. In fact, England have one of, if not, the best packs in the world. The only thing that stops them winning every game is their lack of fantastic backs. Sure, we have good backs, but we only get 1 gem every 4 or 5 years or so, whilst other countries (Australia for example) produce quality backs on a regular basis.

***** lol@'Destroyed Australia', Australia for years been the weaker of the Tri-Nations but still consistently beats The Northern Hemisphere teams. Prove is in the pudding, all you have to do is look at the win/lose record for the Southern vs Northern teams. We need to organise along the lines of the Super 15's, who concentrate their top players to 5 teams per nation, a feeder system, that by the time they get selected to represent their nations the step up and systems of play is not foreign, but second nature. The 6 Nations as national teams compared with the Tri Nations are that weak they would struggle to beat the top Super Rugby teams..and that's by general consensus..

davevak You're living in the past! The 2013 Tri-Nations tour of The North; the Six Nations, one win in 11 attempts and that was England's not too convincing win by 7 points over Australia. Try tally, the Six Nations managed a meagre 11, Tri-Nations 33. Now doesn't that tell a story! The Six Nations just don't have the decision making, game management or finishing ability to challenge let alone consistently challenge the Top three, and until they do I don't see things changing. The Super 15's churns out a conveyor belt of talent ready to take that next step up to the national level. By comparison what does Aviva Premiership Rugby have to offer.....the truth is...nothing, that would worry the Big Three.
