Spain has La Masia and other schools that England does not have. That's why spain players are technically better than any other country. Other countries technically good are Brasil and Argentina because they have clubs that teach players' foundations since they are kids.

Spain is economically catching up after decades of financial deprivation by the neighbors nations. No surprise, they knew it. After the Civil War in the 30s Spain was technically isolated by their historical European counterparts. The day Spain catches up €€€" perhaps another Spanish golden age revive.

@@Dirkblokey Check how many elite english coaches are compared to Spain... if you go down the hierarchy maybe the formation coaches receive in Spain is more effective. I am pretty sure the problem is not in the players but the coaching.

@@aletapequena I think the coaching must be sub standard too. There is a big push to get more girls involved at a younger age, with 73 gateway centres set up. Maybe it will produce results in time…..but if the coaches are not good enough, England will still struggle
