Englands media team is creating a very personal connection between the fans and the players. This is something that needs to be done to this standard by every country. Give them a raise I say.

@@MiniMatthew Have to agree with your comment. The RFU are protecting the players from the media and doing this instead. They are scumbag parasites in this country (the media) and glad the RFU are taking that stance. They moan about the level of access they don't get anymore (troublemaker Chris Jones from BBC 5 Live RUW does a lot) but they deserve nothing after the things they've done in the past. We all need to boycott the newspapers and media one day, make them realise who actually has power! Scum they are!

@@jbee9713 Problem is I dont trust the media people in the England set up either. Or Eddie. Spent last summer bashing everybody over the head with how great BLM were and people who disagreed with him just didnt understand his experiences. Marler saying that EJ thinks that the squad is a 'representation of where the country is at' - oh, so they're run by ambitious amoral hucksters and the real power is the global finance behind them? Anyone who airs a genuine grievance is ridiculed, un-personned and sent to coventry? Sounds about right. "The more diverse the group the better the results". Sure. Why dont we bring in people who are so diverse they cant even speak each others languages? Why dont we make it so diverse that children are on the pitch, and farmyard animals? EJ is a political animal who likes to push the media politics that correspond to his own personal grievances. I wish the team every success. Do not trust EJ nor do I trust this new, "Woke" RFU and its media team.

It’s a real shame with the injuries as most of those would have made the 23 surely. With the props I always think your best scrummagers should be starting and Marler is miles ahead of Genge. I feel Genge, although in better form for Leicester is on borrowed time internationally and eventually Bevan Rodd will take his place. Still feel Sinkler is better used as impact rather than starting plus makes sense to see what Davison does as a starter. Desperately need launchbury back or get Martin in the second row. Can understand lanes at 6 if Simmonds start otherwise underhill must start. Will be so disappointed if Farrel starts as this autumn is a statement for the World Cup and axis of Quirke, Smith, Tuilagi(or Atkinson) and Slade is ideal. Farrell imbalances that if played at 12. Not sure why he’s not testing Simmonds impact off the bench. Wasted opportunity yet again. Hopeful those injury niggles come back for the next games.Dombrandt has to start at 8 and anything other than that will mean Eddie’s words of a new England were utter BS. Most importantly, from what Eddie is saying, Curry looks set to either be named captain or take over the reigns maybe at the six nations. He’s is the best option. Never understood the call for blind religion behind calls for itoje(he can be the poster boy seeing as the media love him) he’s also too political to stand a chance now
@powerbite922 жыл бұрын
largely agree with what you said. about the commitment to change etc being insincere could you explain what you mean about Itoje and his being 'political' - I wasn't aware of it.

@benrawson0072 жыл бұрын
@@zkavess7294 Not at all, I never said anything of the sort. SS got snubbed before Dombrandt was on the scene. Dom is a hell of a player, but EJ went from 3 out and out 8s to 1 (Dom), Curry is the cover for 8 now. Why isn't SS even in the training squad never mind match day squad? European Player of the Year, the best #8 in Europe for the last 2/3 years, to not even be given a chance? It's very odd.
@jamess34082 жыл бұрын
He was given his chance, that’s why he was brought into camp. Eddie made the decision that Dom is better for the team and do SS was sent back to his club, it’s tough, but unfortunately that’s professional sport. Eddie typically only has his main no8 in the squad and the other back rows that can cover.
@powerbite922 жыл бұрын
@@benrawson007 Eddie will always go conservative. He doesnt want to change anything that much from the WC2019 squad. 2, 8, 9, 10, 15 are the spine of a squad so he will not risk much change in those positions. And it screws him up because he should have started experimenting in 2020. he's way behind in experimenting now. What does he do? He picks experience everywhere again and puts in Raduwan and Furbank as his bold new-ish selections out wide. In what world is OF, Slade + injury prone Manu Tuilagi going to be the midfield for the 2023 WC?
