Credit to the builders - amazing trails. Nice to see exposure of these lesser known places and rides from your area generally. Great riding from both of you too. Really enjoying your vids - becoming a new favourite behind McTrail Rider and Street Pigeon's of the YT world.

@@MindfulTrailBiker My comment was getting a bit long but I missed out that I love to show my wife the ride vids you do with Lindsey as I am trying to get her to share my hobby - but she is scared of the Greens at Glentress never mind anything else :p Luckily my son and I ride the same sort of stuff as you!

@@pmacfto I love a long comment, my replies tend to be on the lengthy side 😂 Its great that your lad rides with you and awesome that he’s at such a high level. Our youngest used to ride with us until just before I started the channel which is a shame, he’s mad on football now and just isn’t interested in bikes. We are planning a “get your other half into MTB” edit though it may be spring before we release that as we want to plan it properly and record it thoroughly and completely. Not sure t will help but were hoping it will inspire. It took about 4 years to get Lindsey up to Golfie standard and it wasn’t a linear progression - but really Wirth it, love riding with her and Hugo!

Coincidentally I was over there a couple of weeks ago, riding those same Win Hill steeps for the first time with some mates for whom it's their local. On the same bike as you, and you & I stopped to consider our life choices at pretty much the same points on each trail 😅 Like you I wasn't feeling it for that log drop on the day, but gotta say you took that steep twisty second half of The Gift way better than I did...

Nice video, should help to figure out where trails are next time (in a dry spell), only tried a couple of trails in the woods so far, with very little off piste experience at the time, some of it kicked my ass 😂 The descent down to Hope great fun though and with the fun rocky bridleway descents around same area can make for a varied day out

Indeed lots of variety and all brilliant! They’re definitely techy for sure and much harder in the wet but give them a bit of respect and they’re very rewarding. I may do a beginner guide if I can get a bit more familiar with the tracks

Hello mate, Totally agree about battery conservation Nduro 8 free ride and Yamaha px23 motor; 5 ride modes. The other weekend did 29.8 miles around Brandon Thetford forest and in trail mode and economy plus 45% left at the end. So I reckon around nearly 60 miles with 100% usage! That’s MAD! 720watt battery and 85nm full torque on max setting His Banshee is a sick colour. Which particular model is it? Thanks Jonathan
@MindfulTrailBiker4 ай бұрын
Hi Jonathan, I was really surprised how economical it was. I was putting more effort in but it was still very easy. The temptation is to climb very fast and then eco mode feels like your doing all the work. If you slow down it feels like plenty assistance. The bungee is a “prime”. Mav proper shreds it too. 👍

There's not a lot on Trail Forks - you got any GPS, or tips for finding these trails?
@MindfulTrailBiker4 ай бұрын
There is a blue run on trailforks called Win hill to ladybower reservoir that’s the first run in the edit - turn left and follow the wall. you’ll see the start of the 2nd and 3rd run in the edit. turn left at the bottom and follow the path - all the other runs are on the other side of the woods. You will see a local at some point and can ask for some directions.

@stubestrong I’ve rode a fair bit off tracks around them areas but not filmed much yet. Kinda list my way a bit after the storms took out some of the tracks on the coniston side. Not easy to film either, if an edit does well it always attracts comments about rights of way etc
