I live in Englewood by the border of Venice. We just got our power back on yesterday. We were thinking about leaving until our water came back on during the 3rd day. After that we decided to stay since we could shower.

If anyone thinks that things were bad in Englewood , take a ride just a little bit south of Englewood , make a right onto Placida Road about 4 miles up and you will start to see the complete destruction of the hurricane. Most of the trees were stripped of their bark& there is piles and piles of debris falling trees mattresses , Piles of plaster from peoples caved in ceilings, piles and piles of junk from destroyed houses on both sides of the road. It looks like a Third World country and that part of the town of Placida. So sad because Placida is one of the most beautiful places in Florida. It’s going to take months and months before all of this can possibly be cleaned up.

I like what y'all are doing but can you please pan the camera a little bit more so folks could get a better sense of the areas that you are visiting. Thank you and keep up the good work!

The size of some huge old trees shows how long it's been since a major hurricane rolled through!

The merchant crossings one they took down a long time ago... "The one that looked like a ice cream cone". The little shop on 776 by Dearborn I don't know.

I'm making a video for a volunteer project called the "Englewood Cleanup Project" where I document the efforts being taken to cleanup Englewood, Florida after Hurricane Ian. Am I able to include some of the clips in this video, into my video. The video I'm making will not be monetized and is not going to be posted on KZbin and will be made for educational purposes. Thanks, BMG Productions
