That’s great that you’re Catholic and read the Agpeya. I went to Catholic School while being Orthodox. If you haven’t read a lot about the councils and apostolic tradition,, God will lead you. I don’t believe God is selective in giving favor necessarily to a certain group. Seek and you will find 🙃

But I am absolutely loving the sung thanksgiving prayers and psalms because it cuts deep inside the soul. Thank you Fady I have used your uploads for three years now.

Former catholic myself and never regretted my decision to convert. I've learned so much more about my faith. You will also notice that the Coptic liturgy is the closest in similarity to the RC than other orthodox churchs. I now only occassionaly visit my former church with family members.

Naomi King yes. As David says in the psalms. “Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.”. If you’re a monk or nun there’s an extra prayer too Yes continuous prayer even by uttering the Jesus prayer is the goal. It is possible. Just fill your subconscious with God through tools like the audio bible, spiritual songs, prayers and sermons and the conscious will follow. You’ll find yourself praying and praising God in no time all the time. A tip is to not get distracted. You may get bored at first but then it’ll grow on you. Just my experience

Even in the liturgy when you compare the body . The catholic wafer is wrong because it was one body broken for many . How can you only break the wafer with a small break ? If it's a human body the bread should be bigger . It doesn't fit the honour Jesus deserves

I purchased an Agpeya the other day. apparently all 150 psalms aren't prayed in it though.... only around 70? what's the reason behind that? when are the other psalms prayed?

There’s a prayer session during Holy Week that some churches partake in where all 150 get read continuously. Each congregation member is given a verse. Usually done in smaller groups. There’s so many great prayers for all 150 there’s specific books and the bible

Did you really choose to put commercials in the middle of prayer so that people need to be interrupted and skip commercials during prayer? Did you really commercialize prayer? John Tetzel commercialized in the West, and it started a reformation.

As a non Coptic (English) Coptic Orthodox Christian, it would be of great benefit to pronounce the English language correctly. Also a member of the congregation (female) has the most unappealing nasal singing. Not all Coptic people can sing well.
