I've heard they've used about 70%-75% of the current material, so it might be a while before a possible Season 2. Considering the OVA might be adapting the hot spring chapter, that's at least one less chapter. Still, maybe eventually. As for character development, most of it was Kobiyashi, though a some for others spread throughout. Sure, what counts as development can be subjective, so opinions on depth may vary.

It's probably the same as how we have three meanings for the sound " To " which can be " Too " or " Two " and in rare instances, we have words that are spelled the same way but mean different things. Then hey go through the story conflict and at the very end, there's a reprise that matches this epicness and it becomes a duet! And during the bridge, Kanna breaks into a rad little kiddie dance and it'd be adorable and awesome.
