I love how the dr.stone op mentions the water of life and fire force has the flames of life. A great contrast. The water of life means that humanity has had to change and adapt like water. The flames of life represents humanity's determination or emotions i.e how wild emotions are and that they only need a spark to create a deadly wildfire. This is how I process it anyway.

Indeed. So long as the rough intent is maintained in the lyrics, a direct translation is really pretty irrelevant. It's far more important that the syllabic alignment and tempo of the lyrics match that of the original according to the beat and rhythm of the music.
