Been to both Berlin teams for a game, both incredible experiences. Getting Union league tickets might be hard but the atmosphere makes it all worth it, id say they edge Hertha.

Love that you came to Düsseldorf. Unfortunately probably the most boring game in like 2 years. Last season Düsseldorf played nice offensive football. This season due to the best 3 players leaving, the focus is much more on defending. Good to see that you drank Altbier.

Fortuna has some very famous supporters: Die Toten Hosen, one of the oldest punk bands in Germany, are their fans. They are playing punkrock for more than 40 years. The singer Campino is half English, the drummer is from Essex btw.

I would recommend to visit "Kickers Offenbach" one day. It is only 4th division but except Duisburg no 4th league side can compete with Offenbachs atmosphere! The winter break is coming soon and lasts for a long time in "Regionalliga Südwest" but if you come back in March for the match against Eintracht Trier (who have some good support as well) you should be in for a great experience! Also if you decide to watch another match you could maybe line it up with a visit at Eintracht Frankfurt, who are on your Germany bucket list, since the stadiums are only 17 kilometers apart (but important note: the clubs hate each other!). Nevertheless great Video mate and I am already excited to watch your Vlog from Wuppertal :)

What I love about German fans is that matchday is a whole event where they all come to SUPPORT the team whereas in England we have too many fans who turn up to see their team win which is the wrong way of showing support and impacts the atmosphere negatively.

That ground looks soo much better at night! (and why the heck don't the concessions take card?!? Even Frauen Bundesliga SGS Essen did!) As an Ipswich fan who went over to Dusseldorf for a friendly back in 2015.. I can't recall what started the friendship but there is groups of fans from both sides that go across during the season.

Been a fan of German football since childhood & go over a couple of times a year for games. Went to see Dynamo Dresden & Lokomotive Leipzig in September. I'd definitely recommend Preussen Münster. They're my Bochum. Great old school stadium and you have to stay at the end for the traditional fan and player chant. A beautiful town to visit as well. Love your videos mate and glad you've caught the bug. 👍🇩🇪⚽

I've an obsession with German football. Favourite is 2nd division. The 3rd and Nordost Liga are great entertainment too. The football, stadiums, fan culture and bier has no equal. Oberhausen got a offer for the Game at Gladbach II at the end of the year. U can get a bus ticket from Oberhausen to Gladbach for just 5 Euro. There might be just Oberhausen fans but its still really fun.

Nice Video! I have a little advice for your next match. You could visit a Derby or a game against Schalke or Kaiserslautern. Also nice is the Rheinderby Fortuna Düsseldorf against Cologne. It is a huge differnt against them and so„little“ clubs like Paderborn. Then is the stadium full and you will see the great and impressive Choreos from Düsseldorf.❤️🤍💪

The Merkur Spiel Arena needs to improve on the hospitality services coming long way away to watch a game and can't buy a bratwurst because they don't accept debit / credit cards is a bad service and the game was boring to so don't go back to this arena again.
