Puella Magi Madoka Magica is the same way and it intentionally does it too. It’s a magical girl anime. The original anime trailer is super happy af . The ending song changes from happy to horror after I believe the 3rd or 4th episode. And it gets more f*cked up the further you get into it. But I had already knew this was psychological horror because the anime in the early 2000s had great creepy music.

Something really funny happened to me a while ago, I was listening the intro (of the song) with my headphones on and when the instrumental was about to start my air conditioner made such a weird and loud sound that I literally jumped in horror and then the instrumental kicked in. I GOT THE LITERAL CHILLS BUT IN A BAD WAY LMAO I'LL NEVER CONSUME HORROR CONTENT AGAIN.

Just as stunning as you old cover. I love this one a tad more everythijng feels more enunciated then in the prior version. The only part that saddened me was you didn't put the Mion laugh at the start and at least one 'You can not esacpe'at the end. I'm personally very happy with the sequel. There's nothing to be disappointed about yet, it's only 2 episodes in and they've pretty much copied everything perfectly from the 2006 series.
