Hi, there! I'm very pleased with your video lesson. And to be honest with you I have chosen you because of the way you speak and teach, which really surprises me because I never felt very attracted to British accent. But I'm commited to taking my English to the next level and I decided to listen to other English speaking people, not only native Americans. So I thank you for your teachings. A big hug from Argentina

Hello Jack! I'm very happy to get in touch with you. I've learnt a lot about speaking English. I absolutely agree with you. The best way of learning to speak English accurately and fluently is by repeating over and over sentences in order to internalise them. Thanks so much for this video. I find it very very useful. See you in the next video!

Thanks a lot, teacher. I recently have read your wonderful book in an hour. It was so strange to understand everything or almost everything. I followed your advice and here's the result: I watched this video without subtitles and understood almost everything. I'm so happy about that! Thank you thank you thank you!

Excellent as usual. I would appreciate clarification about the use of the following 2 structures :to be afraid to do something and to be afraid of doing something. I know there is a subtle difference but what I really want to be made clearer about is to which extent we are allowed to overlook the rule in informal language. According to English Grammar in Use Textbook, published by Cambridge, you should have said: I am afraid to walk in the dark rather than I am afraid of walking in the dark. Similarly, I am afraid to ride a bicycle because I am afraid of falling off. Again: I am afraid to get near the dog because I am afraid of getting bitten. I can infer that the of+ gerund structure introduces the factual, the actual hazard, harm, repercussion on the speaker, who is afraid to do the general action because afraid of having specific negative results. My English has massively improved since I met you. Please send my regards to your lovely wife. Thank you
