Thank you for this lesson, Emma. I tried to write the entire text, and I also discovered what a platypus is. What an amazing story! I'm glad to have heard it, and I hope that one day I can see a platypus in its natural habitat too (so I need to go to Australia). Thank you for sharing! 🥰

This is a great practice format Emma, thank you. Apart from the listening practice, focusing on specific words or word groups is useful for practising your writing skills and learning new vocabulary/collocations/use of prepositions. I missed 3 answers due to speed issues so this is a challenging practice that also demands fast thinking/writing. I hope you consider doing more videos like this one. Thanks again, you're the GOAT.

Glad it was helpful Ivan! Practising this way is excellent for your memory and recall as well. I'll definitely keep this format on my list of new lessons to make.

Hi Emma, Hope this message finds you well. My students are big fans of your content, because in the past I have incorporated your videos into my English lessons. Your content is useful and of high quality, and my students benefitfrom it. However, there’s a slight challenge - the volume of your voice in most videos is not very audible, especially when compared to other English KZbin channels.I have speakers, but ur the only channel, when I have to move to class to side around the speaker, which at times is not possible to do. As a fellow educator I hope you understand the importance of clear audio in an learning environment, so my request is, if could you please consider increasing the volume of your voice in future videos. This adjustment would significantly enhance the learning experience for my students and make your valuable content even more accessible. Thank you for your time and for the fantastic work you do and wishing you a happy holiday season ahead. Best regards, Rubén KZbinr and Nomadic English Teacher in (Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan)

Teacher, great lesson! Thank you! There is some years that I follow your free content and I realized that in some videos your audio seems like you were whispering. I'm using noise-canceling headphones and even so, it is hard for me to listen to what you are speaking. That's different from understanding, I'm not talking about the meaning of the word, but the sound itself. This is my feedback, about the media, but the content is awesome. Keep up the good work!

It's so weird and amazing to hear about a possibility of bumping into a platypus for people who live in northern countries! :) It's something of the kind of a mythic creature for us.
